Change is good.
Looks fine to me. The march of progress goes on. Hopefully it will offer capabilities beyond what the current connector offers, like USB 3.0 speeds, better charging capabilities, in addition to making the device thinner and lighter. A necessary change, but a good one. Third-party manufactures will adapt, they always do.
Also, I'm pretty sure that Apple will sell a zillion of these upcoming iPhones, regardless of this dock connector change.
Another thought: everyone always desires a redesign of the iPhone, but it seems like people don't want this change. Why is that? It's a tweak that will (hopefully) make the device better.
