Your complaint makes absolutely no sense. The phone didn't change enough and it is ugly, so instead of the newer phone with LTE you are going to buy the older one instead? Which, because you feel it didn't change enough, must be ugly too?

I agree. Nothing you said contradicts what I said. Apple is not calling it unibody for a reason though. It's not technically unibody. But yes, it's mostly one aluminum piece.

The iPhone Nano coming next year. The screen wraps itself around the phone. You just turn the device over to see the rest of the screen.
I think people are missing the point of those disappointed. They, including myself, were just looking forward to a redesign - that's it. Simple.
I'm not hating the 5. I respect those that like it. I do like the matte black rear plate and new features that I don't get on the 4S. I'm not putting the 5 down. It was just a "mere" disappointment to keep the 4/4S design. That's all.

While I'm not overly excited about a larger screen, I agree with most on here saying that the 5 is pretty much a complete overhaul when compared to the 4/4S.
The only thing I was disappointed about was how accurate all of the part leaks for the 5 have been. Usually rumour sites are full of fake leaks that everyone thinks are real but come keynote day we get blown away. Not the case this year. Made me sad.

lol i didnt specifically mean to single you out. in general apple makes so much money they could literally not care any less if people are mad there wasnt a complete redesign. in a couple weeks millions of people, including myself, are going to make them even more wealthy than they already are
There has only been one really big redesign in the history of iPhones (the iPhone 4). I'd say the iPhone 5 is a somewhat big redesign compared to the rest. It's a relative difference. And either way, I'm not looking for change "just for the sake of change".
How was the design the same? When I look at the 3 and 4 there is clearly a change in design! When I look at the 4 and 5 they are pretty much the same! Would u like a picture?

I think the biggest reason some are disappointed is because they are looking for thrills and chills. They want excitement, but they don't know exactly what will give them that feeling they crave. Ask them why they are disappointed, and they say, "I want more." Ask them to define "more" and either they can't, or they rattle off the name of another product. Ask them why they don't simply buy the other product and be happy, and that's about the time they start calling you a sheep, a fanboi, or tell you to stop drinking the koolaid.
The truth is that it's not the product that is lacking.
True I agree! But regardless it was just an opinion that I had that other people share also! And if there are people that like the design.. So be it!
If it ain't broken don't fix it. The iPhone 4 design is still timeless and one of the best if not THE best design around, and it has resonated with consumers.

Yes you are partially correct! I think I was expecting something "wow" from them because that is just what apple does! I know that everyone's opinion on what should be "wow" is not going to be the same! Or maybe it's a preconceived notion that we have because Steve jobs is no longer around, so we expect to see less of apples greatness! I expected more that's all! I can say I do like the thinness of the phone! One positive thing! On a negative note I hate the fact that it is long!!! But that's what the market is right now! It won't change for the small amount that doesn't like that feature
