Well I'm due to pick up a new Blackbook in the next few days and can say I'm quite happy about that - if these fakes were anything to go by I'd be kicking myself for having waited for them.

PROOF OF FAKE - 100% - I made the photo

As I have posted earlier, I would just like to inform you guys that I photoshopped the image that this rumor is claiming to be the new MacBook I did it back in January, and it was a mockup of a MacBook PRO not a MacBook. I guess someone took my image which I posted on MacRumors in Jan, and they changed a few things. There is no way that this "MacBook" is real, because I know for a fact that I don't work for Apple...

If Apple has any sense, they should stop issuing C&D notifications except in cases of severe breeches. All they do by issuing them is confirm the material is genuine.

Hopefully arn is correct and the C&D is fake.

These people don't know Jay. Remember the iPod interface? Everyone screamed fake and pointed out all the graphic and sizing errors... They were all 100% wrong and they were legit. People here speculate, but that's all it is. Just a bunch of guesses no matter how "sure" they sound. It's simply a guess.

You miss the point, people here love to speculate and we like to use our twisted logic to come to a conclusion. We fight with each other over who is right and who is wrong. It is a lot of fun and allow us to pass the time until the real animal shows up.

We are just passing time and working ourself into a frenzy. We know we really don't have a real clue, but with the little information we do have and all the rumors we paint a mental picture of what in our mind it is likely to mean..

It does not really matter if we are right or wrong, at least not to a lot of us, it is just fun.

Agree.. according to the account info from ARN it came from an apple account, so even if it would have been a picture of my bum with a black bezel around it and new keyboard, they would have pulled it, since it obviously generates some waves in the communities that matter...

ps.. I would post a picture, but I have copyright on my bum..

I don´t mean to offend anyone – the finds may be legit on the user´s behalf. I´m just being suspicious (and very curious).

The thing that throws it off is the fact that it came from "Apple Legal", they usually come from a third party representing Apple.
