Just a question, have you felt it in person? Because after using it, I love the design, and think the keyboard fits very well. Better than any other (Mac) laptop.

Yes, I have, but I hate the wedge shaped design, large bezel and am not too keen on the black keyboard. I'm not saying I wouldn't be happy if someone gave me one, I just would rather get a Macbook Pro instead.

Check this out.... there was another photo that no one else got to see that appeared on an Apple certified website for 0.1 secs before Apple Legal Action Team took it down. It's the new 40" Cinema Display.

Unfortunately all evidence besides this amazingly accurate photo exist. It must be true since it looks so cool, it has a Leopard background, and looks just like everything else.

How sarcastic.

You're right, but even an Apple mockup would have been better than these...

Does no one else see how tacky the 17" MBP looks?

Of course they look tacky in pictures. Even if they aren't real I'm sure the real products would look bad in pictures to everyone on here also. Every product Apple has released recently has been blasted in the forums as looking like crap until people have the chance to see it in person. After that all the bitching goes away.

Remember the nano or even the new iMac when they were released and how everybody said Apple was crazy and had lost all design sense.

 It doesn´t have a keyboard!! Is this the multitouch touchscreen macbook pro? :D

Any flickr or picasa site, where we can find screenshots from the website or pictures. Can only find the macbook and pro. Thanks.. :)
Which date was quoted in the iTunes 8 picture?

Here's the collage pic that Engadet has on their site.

Yeah, but they didn't look anything like the mockups.

Nope Cinema Display... it's so cool that you add your own specs to the model before you buy it, lowering or raising the price accordingly. :D

DUDE! That is totally a fake! I mean look at the way the light is reflected on the base. It doesn't match the reflection on the screen!

But I do see a hint of an iSight... OMG THIS MIGHT BE TRUE!!! Apple TOTALLY is gonna put iSights on their cinema displays. I heard it from my neighbor Cletus. He knows all about macs.

Agree.. according to the account info from ARN it came from an apple account, so even if it would have been a picture of my bum with a black bezel around it and new keyboard, they would have pulled it, since it obviously generates some waves in the communities that matter...

ps.. I would post a picture, but I have copyright on my bum..

Please don't! That would crack us up!

Where are these pictures and whats all this about iPhone Australia? All of this got pulled, someone update me, please.

Honestly, I think the black iMac-ish border on macbook pro is soooo unlikely... That would take much needed screen space....

Hey, one can always attempt to design a base off-center but I doubt you'll like the Moment Arm of Force creating creep and fatigue into the base and ultimately reaching the point of fracture.

Ahh how I miss my materials and manufacturing labs for Mechanical Engineering. It was fun to see stuff twist, ripple and shear.

It must have been the same guy. The super duper Apple executive account email address was cletus@thisisappleincupertino.com

:eek::eek:

You can't photoshop a valid iTunes account with an Apple.com email address.

Please provide me with a valid login name something@apple.com and password for the iTunes Store. If you can, I will agree with you.

I think it is entirely possible for anyone to create an Apple ID with an @apple.com suffix. According to Apple, your ID can be your email, but it doesn't have to be, mine isn't. Why couldn't one create an Apple ID with @apple.com and use a different email to sign up for it? Once it is all confirmed, he could go in and change the actual email address field to @apple.com and it all looks legit.

I am sure you can try it for yourself, I didn't because I didn't feel like entering all of what they require:

https://myinfo.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyInfo.woa/52/wo/bRNKIZGLxkUPFki7kmx2vg/12.0.15.1.32.5

Notice Apple ID and Email are entirely separate fields and are not related at all.

Well, the Macbook Air looks wrong on photos. But on the real thing, it doesn't look bad at all. Actually, I think the flat Macbook keys would look pretty cheap in silver. Looks good on the macbook pro because it's a totally different shape. The black is neat beacause it makes the keyboard backlight really stand out.

I'm quite sure that it wouldn't say "… to the iPhone", as Apple seems to feel that it's a proper noun and needs no definite article; it's just "Welcome to iPhone".

You Brits say it funny.

You Say Al-u-mini-um. We say A-lu-mi-num

WEIRD!

But where you say "lu", it's pronounced "loo", as opposed to our "lyu".
If that makes sense.
