We're talking reality, as hard as that may be to comprehend for those who allow Apple to do their thinking for them.
Maybe where you live, but in NYC, bluetooth headsets are alive and well.
Why is it that preferring a smaller screen means someone is incapable of thinking? People have reasons for what they prefer, as hard as that may be to comprehend.
I live in a major US city(not stating for security reasons) but I hardly ever see people with them now and when I do it is people who don't know how to use new tech
If Apple will release a 5" iPhone 6 I'm probably going to buy it, since I need a new smartphone and I'm not going to use any Android phone as my primary smartphone.Because most people are just going to upgrade to a larger display when Apple makes it.
People say **** about how Steve Jobs would never do it, how Apple would never do it, how there's no marketshare, how people only use iPhones with one hand, how other phones are too big.
...
Then Apple does it and everyone shuts up.

If phones aren't being made with smaller screens and updated tech what choice do people have?
What choice do iOS users have? Maybe 95% of the current user base would love to buy a 5" screen.
Time to wake up. It's neither an oversized display or a fad. We're talking reality, as hard as that may be to comprehend for those who allow Apple to do their thinking for them.
I hate to see such a good company live in denial for years on end while foisting off demure little phones on the unsuspecting public.

I live IN THE WORLD (thanks to my job) and bt headsets are not so used at all ...

Also there simply is an undeniable demand for large screen phones. Look at the note which is selling quite well. Specially in Asia people are preferring larger screens because their phones might be their only computing device.
Now you can say the 4" iPhone is the best sold
Smartphone on earth. True - but maybe a lot of people are buying an iPhone despite their display size and not because of. One would need surveys to know that.
On the other hand I know a lot of people
Who bought a galaxy s3/s4 because of the nice, big display. There are many people like this so why should apple leave this lucrative market sektor without fighting? There are also 2 different iPad sizes because - you know- different strokes for different folks.
We'll maybe you need to see your way around the streets of some major cities then instead of cow country. Bt headsets are alive and well. Also it's what you notice or not.

If the following rumor comes true, Apple will win big and I hope they do.

Current iPhone is already too big. The perfect size for me is the HTC Desire.
What choice do iOS users have? Maybe 95% of the current user base would love to buy a 5" screen iPhone.
It's just a trend that manufactures market as a must have feature to sell phones, although useful we don't need PHONES to so huge. I currently use the iPhone 5 and although 5 inch phone would be welcomed to be honest I just don't find myself wishing the screen was bigger whenever I use my phone.
If Apple will release a 5" iPhone 6 I'm probably going to buy it, since I need a new smartphone and I'm not going to use any Android phone as my primary smartphone.
But I won't be happy ....
