He was- but overall he's been more interesting than Lakisha. She's good, but on the whole, I think the right person went home.
though sending home lakisha kept the final three more diverse, i think blake dodged a bullet and i think he knows it
i don't think many wanted to see three talented singers, all female, go for the semis...although the judges thought the final 12 was dominated by better female singers this season
i still would have found a three way diva race very interesting, especially if all were equally great next week and in the finals and the votes were very close
this should prompt him to give a great performance next week
he is the underdog for sure and many people like to vote for an underdog
blake does not have a great voice, maybe not even a good voice, but does have some dance moves and a super talent at the human beat box thing
in the long run, blake can be the more enduring star because of his truly unique persona
melinda and jordin, while much better singers in this singing competition, are far more predictable but have already drawn comparisons to singing greats of the past from the judges
blake has not distinguished himself as one who is following a well traveled path to idol stardom
taylor hicks was prolly the most unidol type of winner and if blake goes the distance, he can join ranks with the soul patrol
if jordin or melinda win, people will rack this up to another predictable idol season, but if blake wins, this season will be remembered and make him famous, perhaps infamous
