^Thats all...you suck just as much as sikkinixx, MRU and eStudios:p
I've unlocked the Med, Engineer, Assault & Tactician(this guy is your mobile spawn point soulstorm) and I'm doing pretty good online.

I'll have to get back into SP soon but multiplayer is what I got this game for and I'm not disappointed..I can play this game for hours on end.

Note: SK I'm playing on the hardest setting:cool::p

Bless

Showoff lol, I suck at all mutiplayer games :p

I'm always too busy with work to play multi a ton, but I did beat single player already so now I have a little more time for online.

I have yet to go online. Im playing to get the single player trophies right now. Playing through on Elite is tough! I am amazed at how smart the enemies are. I was edging close to the end of a hallway and heard a Helghast yell "theres his shadow!" and they ran in and killed me. It was awesome. Now i make sure i check my shadow now. You really have to pay attention to every little detail in this game. i love it.

Wow! That is specific. I couldn't make it past the bridge on elite. :/ aw well.

Multiplayer, on the other hand, has matured nicely. When you cram 32 people into a small area with explosives and bullets flying everywhere, things can get intense!

I just made it past the bridge in Elite and quit for the night at the ATAC fight. The bridge is tough, what specific part are you having a problem with (entering the bridge, the part with the AA gun, or the 2nd half of the bridge)? I pretty much have it memorized, it took about an hour to get through :/

I'm talking the part where you blow up the bridge on the first level. :D Kudoes to you for making it that far! :p

Finally beat the train level on Elite, yikes; that was tough.

I agree with the criticisms I've read about the 'invisible checkpoints' in the game, where enemies will respawn indefinitely until you reach a certain point or achieve a certain goal. It can make it very, very frustrating.

In this case, it made me get a bit more creative, it was very rewarding.

I still get my posterior handed to me in Elite in Skirmish mode though! :p

Its not as bad as COD4. That game was frustrating as balls with the respawning enemies. There are only a few occasions this happens in KZ2 if i remember correctly. The one in the bridge section can be stopped if you take out the AA gun from a distance, which is not easy, but possible. The train one you just have to power through.

I love how Guerilla made it so that some of the most beautiful levels are the hardest, so sightseeing is a big no no. I played through the bridge on veteran yesterday, and wow. It's hard, it's fun, AND it's amazing looking.

Finished both Killzone 2 and F.E.A.R 2 yesterday.

Both are very short at around 5 1/2 - 6 hours long. However Killzone 2 at least left me wanting to play through the game again at a harder difficulty.

F.E.A.R 2 on the other hand has just been traded in for RE5 on the 360 :)

Dont quite understand how so much development time can be spent and money on a game thats so short though. Both games are of the shortest FPS's I've played, even compared to their original brethren (Killzone PS2 / FEAR PC/360/PS3) this new gen sequels are appallingly short.

KZ2 took a while because they spent a ton of time building the engine from the ground up for the Cell. Sony plans on using that engine for future first-party games, so KZ2 is just the beginning of great AI, physics, graphics, and everything.

Not necesserily though. The UT3 engine is a great engine, and a huge amount of games utilise it - not all of them have great graphics, AI, physics and everything ;)

oh, of course some devs wont put their heart into it, but others will be able to make amazing games with it. The problem is that alot of first-party ps3 developers already have amazing games and they really dont need to switch to a new engine.

God damn it takes WAY too long to unlock stuff.... 7 hours in and I finally unlocked Engineer...

edit: wow, have any of yous guys seen killzone.com? Just fire in your PSN ID and it has all the normal stat stuff etc. but you can watch tactical replays of matches you have played. It shows little blips on the map moving around and lists who dies, kills, etc. My God.... Sorny... actually.... doing... something.... online.... auughhhhg,,,,,

Title needs to be edited....

Oh ya! Sorry about that :p

Haha, I think it's worse in CoD:WaW.

I was playing a little online yesterday, I'm getting better! (But still don't have enough time to rank up much...)

Got this yesterday, loving it! I'm progressing through the campaign (up to the ATAC part...) and had a stab at online play. Really impressed with the game mechanics and graphics, though I find the assault rifles a bit to same'y.

There were a couple of rifles that seemed pretty similar. I just got the hang of the SMG right at the end of the game. That thing is really powerful if you can keep from holding down the trigger. Burst-fire people. Burst-fire.

Burst-fire people. Burst-fire.

I've been doing that for years ;) I keep getting ambushed whilst running though, which means I usually die as it takes time for the reticule to shrink back down and aiming to actually work, rather than spraying bullets over a 10m area.

Well part of the reason for that nowadays, IMHO is because of hardcore gamers that make themselves heard. It seems that the popular thing is online, and single player is an added bonus. And while that sorta makes since, I still don't follow completely. Entertainment has always been some variation of storytelling, but now people just want to be vegetables cussing out other vegetables online. That's just me. I would much rather have a cinematic experience, and that is why I loved Uncharted so much!

Ok, I'll stop talking about that. But that is one of the many MANY reasons why single player is sometimes a bit of an afterthought.

That's good AI for ya! I can't tell you how many times I died via COD tactics. :p

Yep I agree with you and see where your coming from.... unfortunately....

As long as Beyond Good and Evil 2 isn't butchered in the same way, there may be hope for strong cinematic single player......

The truth is I was kind of disappointed with the game. The graphics are great and all, although not THAT much better than COD4 for example. Apart from that though it was hard for me to get used to the the weighted feel of the controls. The story of the game was a let down I think, way to linear and the same stuff repeating itself over and over again.
I enjoyed the story of COD4 a lot more in retrospect. That is not to say that KZ2 is a bad game, far from it. But I think it is behind COD4 in single and multiplayer.
Multiplayer in KZ2 has so many annoyances I put it down after 10 hours and I don't feel like putting it in again, which is the total contrast to COD4, which I couldn't put down and always went back to when finishing another game like Fallout3 or Metal Gear Solid 4.

Just my 2 cents though, your mileage may vary.
