I said if he cares about community, MR in general and his job (which is between everything else - to respond to forum posts like this) - he will come here and make official reply...

And yes - I am indeed looking forward to it!
 
I can't believe you're getting worked up about what one Apple rumors websites chooses to post about Flash. Unless you work for Adobe and are on the Flash development team (in which case you're a shill), I just don't know where all the anger is coming from.

This website isn't about justice and fairness, it's about entertainment and discussion. If you don't like it, click away to somewhwere else. Try the Adobe Forums, I'm sure you'll get a lot of support for your opinions there.

Why does a response here dictate someone's feelings toward MR and their job? Since you are the only one complaining, the community isn't up in arms.

This isn't a news collection site about everything tech going on. Some filtering has to happen somewhere. This whole thread is coming across very demanding like someone owes you answers. In fact, you're just another member, like everyone else.

If you don't like it, move on.

There is no anger at all - but yes, there are plenty of questions... (some asked throughout this site)

MR is the only Mac related site I visit - and I rely upon it to give me as valuable, balanced, objective information as possible...

I have noticed in last few months that they are not doing this and instead that they are spreading lies and propaganda instead... (particularly when it comes down to Flash)

In this thread I am asking why is that?

Simple as that...

No anger here and I truly hope that non of you fanz got angry either by my, perhaps, unusual or uncommon questions...

Your signature is NOT helping your cause at all.

To truly experience "fair and balanced" reporting the reader needs to be "fair and balanced".

Otherwise this is just another wasteland-bound thread.

Relying on one site for information is unwise. You should be aware by now that the only way to gain some objectivity in news is toi read as many sources as you can. Reading only what's posted here and then projecting it on the entire Mac-using community is completely unfair and intellectually lazy.

Would you rather go to your fav site (whatever it is) and read objective, informative, real life article (regardless of the subject) or would you rather get fed with nonsensical propaganda instead!?

I am very happy with MR and all of the information I get here
I don't feel in any way like they are feeding me propaganda or misinformation

And I don't give a **** about Flash
 
OP - 505 (and counting) posts since you joined in 2009 and more than half are complaining about lack of Flash support or HTML5.

We get it, you are the Flash equivalent of a Tea-bagger. You have more in common with the commentators on Faux News than MacRumors does.

Get over it. Flash will NOT be coming to idevices and will likely not be around in 10 years. Move along people.

Well yeah, exactly...

One of the posters here said you can indeed contribute to MR (and therefore affect content of it) and now it seams that no-one can :)

This is, by the way, one of my questions - why MR never ever published any article that is objectively covering Flash issue... I have personally submitted quite a few... Yet all we see is perpetual propaganda, quite often perfectly timed so it stays up at the top for as long as possible (like most recent case last Friday).

Sure I can go to other sites and I of course do - hence all the real life information I have (few you can find in provided links in this very thread)... Just like I can press the button and watch other news channels instead of Sky or Fox News...

But that fact doesn't exactly make me happy since I was sure that MR is nothing like Fox News...

I was obviously mistaken and this thread is merely an attempt to swing it from that evil path :)
 
Dude, with all this research and ranting you have been doing why don't you just make your own website? You obviously have a problem with Macrumors so why stay on?

You have done ample research already with your article finds so why not make a website and post these all. Ranting at Macrumors is not going to do anything.

In fact - when I read most (if not all) of the replies made here not a single one of you argued with my main point that this site has become extremely biased and that it appears to serve as propaganda machine...

OP, I think here you might be confusing news and opinion. MacRumors' front page reports news articles that state facts and has yet to post an opinion on the benefits or drawbacks of either ... well in the last 300 "page 1" articles these are the only hits for the words 'Flash', 'Adobe', or 'HTML5'


How exactly is this "nonsensical propaganda"? The source for all these articles are external, and do not necessarily compare flash to HTML5 .

Answer: This site is extremely biased - it's a Mac rumors website. The discussions focus on Apple products. Nobody has ever suggested this was ever an objective computer rumors website covering all operating systems and platforms, because it isn't. And at any rate, you seem to have overestimated how much people care about the content of your complaints - for the most part we are simply bemused that you are so very upset over a trifle.

People are answering your questions left and right, but you don't like the answer. You're not listening at all.

You asked why aren't all stories that are submitted put on the site. I specifically told you that not all news makes it, because this is not a news aggregation site. It's left to the user to find other articles regarding the topic and base an opinion.

In response to your last question in bold, I have never seen a news site yet that shows all sides of a subject. They are all biased in some fashion. Asking for MR to be different is the dumbest idea I have heard, but of course, I haven't been to the iPhone forums in awhile either.
