Steve Jobs is doing barrel rolls in his grave as we speak.
Yeah, he's pretty stoked about it.

It's stories like this that convince me more and more each day that I'm just too old for Apple products. I'm old enough to remember when the point of computers was to be more productive.

Guess I'm just a dinosaur.
I'm glad I missed the punch card era. My first computer was the Commodore 64.

Bunch of party poopers here. Probably the same people who complain about everything.
On the contrary - I take this new development direction very serious.
As a male white, I sincerely feel discriminated that poo-emojie is black-only....

Being old doesn't mean you can't have fun in life; just an FYI...

I agree Apple one of the most creative companies in the 1970s and now the bloated bosses get excited about emojis. Oh my days. What's gone wrong with society?

Yeah, because this is literally the only thing that Apple is interested in, or excited about.

You might as well say that the only thing Steve Jobs or Apple was excited about in 1984 was making a silly smily face on a computer screen.

If the main attraction to rhe X, at least to you, is animated emoji? That's on you.

Actually, no. You own the device. I have not attraction to the X. :apple:

I was more inclined to think Inverted Immelmans. However, a Barrel Roll works as well. :apple:

No, you are not. Age is mostly a state of mind. Just make sure it's the right fit for you. You still have a lot of choice in the product lineup. ;)

I am more ashamed of our society because of people like you who poop (pun intended) on other people's fun.... Society will just be fine, if judgemental people were to keep their thoughts to themselves....

Talking about materialistic things, shouldn't you follow your own advise? Get off whatever materialistic things you are using to post negativity on here and go out and have your joy with reality?

Kudos to all the people who are having fun with their animoji's. I am glad some people find fun & joy at silly things in life. Some of us are too hung up and seem hate having fun...

Sorry, incase use missed it I don't use the Poop Emoji. ;)

No, Emoji. ;)

‘I bet in 2017 there will be flying cars and hoverboards’

2017: nope we have animojis

Again, your first mistake is to bizarrely think that *fun things* and *serious things* are somehow mutually exclusive, and if we have one we can't possibly have the other?

Serious question - do you ever do anything fun?

If the answer is yes, what would you think if I criticised you for not being a responsible adult, somehow suggesting that any and all serious aspects of your life must be going down the tubes because of all that irresponsible fun you were having?

:p

So many Emoji’s, so little time to spend on finding let alone understand the meaning. Need a search, “How are you feeling” or “I need an Emoji for” or “trending Emoji” or “something funny” as a pop up. This scrolling until ones finger gets tired, not the Apple way. ;)

All the people who are enjoying this Animoji stuff are like those disgusting people who have sex for reasons other than procreation. Dirty, filthy little hump-monsters who fail to realize that the sole reason for sex is for reproduction.

OK, so for a long time I pooh-poohed the whole idea of using emojis and then when I saw the demo at the keynote of the new animojis, I thought, "oh, brother, this is really ridiculous!" So last night I saw this thread's header and thought "NOW what?" and began reading, then out of curiosity clicked on the "Lion Sleeps Tonight" -- and never laughed so hard in my life! Only stopped laughing long enough to click on "Bohemian Rhapsody." I was hooked after that! I immediately spent time with all the others -- this is absolutely amazing creativity and such fun for both the creators and the viewers-listeners. I don't have an iPhone X yet and when I do I probably won't try doing a karaoke animoji myself, but I will definitely keep enjoying seeing what others can do with these things. What a fun and unexpectedly delightful use of Animoji!
