Behind you 100%, OP. I thought Siri's remarks were clever at first, but they stopped being funny when I found out that they can't be turned off. I develop software for a living, and I would never, EVER think of adding such a childish feature without offering the ability to disable it. Apple is obviously pandering to the masses of simpletons out there who are easily mesmerized by shiny objects and gizmos (and who will pry open their wallets wide to pay for them.)
The iPhone is, on balance, a great device, but Siri's lack of discipline, so to speak, IS a serious flaw.
