I have 20 Pcs AT&T iPhones to unlock.

Can anyone unlock it for me, I am ready to pay.
email me at adi364 [@] yahoo.com

If you're willing to pay, then you may as well do it yourself. Sites like gsmliberty.net and cutyoursim.com come to mind.

Have you hooked the phone up to itunes and restored? Once you have done that it will tell you that your iPhone is unlocked. Give that a try first...

Yes, I have done it, and nothing happened, am still wit AT&T, I'll try to rewrite my case..is it easy to unlock iPhone if you are USA resident?

I did

Though never got confirmation from AT&T or through iTunes

Found out by putting other carrier sim in

Off contract ip4

Can anyone elighten me on how this process works. If I was looking to switch to T-mobile, could I purchase a used at&t iPhone 4 or 4S and buy an at&t sanctioned unlock from someone else?

I've heard if the used phone your buying is linked to a contract the unlock won't work, is that true?

Also, does this work for both the iPhone 4 or 4S?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If at&t officially unlocks your iphone, does it still have the at&t customizations installed on the phone or is it more similar to a factory unlocked device. For example, will it show a 4g indicator when you are in hspa coverage instead of 3g? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to buy an unlocked imei phone- check many websites for the imei status and if it says unlocked you are good

Speaking of testing another carrier's sim to test the sanctioned unlock?

I have always wanted to test out my phone and it seems helpful if I happen to sell my phone so I can prove it, right?

I just have no idea how to test it since I have AT&T... I'm sure people have tested this somehow.

So when I upgrade from my iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5 when it comes out (which, based on current pricing would cost me at least $449 to purchase the phone as an early upgrade), I'm pretty sure that AT&T will be obliged to unlock my 4S. Say I sell the 4S on eBay, will it be unlocked in perpetuity, or does AT&T have some sort of control over this? It would be awesome to recoup the cost of the iPhone 5 by selling an unlocked iPhone in this manner...

I believe if you get it officially/factory unlocked from AT&T. It is unlocked forever.

I sold my unlocked iPhone 4S 16GB (purchased 10/2011) on eBay last week and bought a used AT&T 32GB iPhone 4S on eBay for the same price as I sold my 16 for. Initiated an unlock request with AT&T and it was good to go in about 30 minutes! Talk about a good deal!

Quick unlock and great service

Logged on the AT&T site this evening connected with online chat. Said I would like one of my phones unlocked. He checked it's eligibility then said to give him a minute. Came back on in about two minutes and said that the unlock had gone thru. Told me to connect to iTunes, backup and then restore. Did so and got a message across iTunes that said I was unlocked. Very smooth and took less than 5 minutes plus the backup/restore process time.

Went to a t- mobile kiosk in the mall and asked if he could put in his sim in my phone... Easy

Just wanted to share my experience with requesting unlock on AT&T. I called last week. The agent said everything looks good with my unlock request and that I'll get the email without 72 hours once the unlock has gone through. Waited 5 days no email.

I'd just called this morning to check the status. The original request was nowhere to be found. Gave the agent my IMEI again, 5 minutes later while I was still on the phone, the email came through. Restored on iTunes and now my 4S is unlocked. Including the restore it took 20 minutes.

So, how much is a like-new, unlocked, mint condition white 64GB 4S worth :D

my 4s isn't out of contract until october 2013 and i would like to hand it down to my niece to use on tmo when the new one comes out this fall. i could either pay what's left of the etf and unlock it, or...i just got this email from apple n berry saying they now offer imei unlocking services:

http://www.applenberry.com/iphone-imei-unlock/

$150 though, but would any of you guys go that option? just wanted to get a general consensus on their service before i even consider it an option. thanks all :)

Dont pay that.
When the new iphone comes out and you start a new contract with it on AT&T your old 4S becomes eligable for an official unlock.
You just gotta call AT&T.

I have an iPhone 4 with AT&T and my contract ends in September of this year. If I pay my ETF and cancel my contract can I still get it unlocked by AT&T?
