anyone willing to comment on how well the buttons work on their cases. when i went through all the cases at best buy, all the ones i like in terms of their profile had horrible button dynamics if you want to use the volume button as a shutter release on the camera. i liked the incase slider, but i found that even though one could just use the native buttons, for whatever reasons (maybe my fingers are too big and clumsy), i found it awkward to get my finger into the opening to easily fire the shutter.
i settled on the speck candyshell. i don't like the bottom cutout and it's a little thicker than the other ones i liked better profile-wise, but it has great button dynamics.
i'll live with this for now, but i'll be on the lookout for the "ultimate case" that satisfies my needs:
- thin profile but with a small lip on the front to offer modest protection
- good button access or replacement button dynamics
- good headphone jack access (candyshell doesn't allow me to use headphones with an "L connector")
- doesn't look bad from it's own scratches (liked the reveal but worried the clear plastic would get scratched easily and look horrible in time)
