Anyone else excited for this Tuesday? :)

Something I do on a daily basis is listen to music on youtube, live versions and niche stuff I can't find anywhere else. Already on my Note 2 I can do this while reading an eBook, surfing the web, messaging or whatever, by simply activating the splitscreen mode. This kind of functionality is why I bought my first non-iPhone this spring.

We used to be able to do that for years on our iPhones with background audio until google blocked it in the YouTube app, now we're stuck doing it via safari, but still workd... So it's nothing new. No split screen required

You sell your iPhone, just like I did and then buy the IP5..I sold it for $300 and then paid $200 for the IP5...And guess what Im buying the iPhone 5S outright because I cant upgrade until 2016..and giving this phone to my mom! And yes I have that amount of money to burn!

:) I'm actually using my mom's upgrade since she's on my plan (I would have to wait until next year) and then I'm going to give her my iPhone 5. I'll sell her 4 and use it to offset my cost. We'll both be happy.

I'm excited in that my iPhone contract is eligible for an upgrade in March so this will be my next phone (5S).

4S was my first contract iPhone having previously bought my iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 outright SIM free (UK user).

Other than that I'm looking forward to the GM of iOS 7 and hope the iPad build is ready to go and isn't delayed until the new iPads launch next month (if rumours are true).

Again, it should not be in hand of developer. It should over hand of Apple. Developer cannot know every single app on App Store. If I have a movie file, the OS should know it is a god damn movie file and it should able to determine that which app can play this movie file. If is a document file, the OS should know it is a document file. It is frustrating to use iOS sometime because it doesn't work well. Tell me why can't an OS do this basic thing?

Lots of people including me not buying music from iTunes nor they pay for iTunes Match. Apple should figure that out by now, I could not buy Japanese pop music from iTunes without buying those overpriced iTunes gift card nor I am willing to pay annual fee for iTunes Match.

In Android, all I need to do is drag and drop. Simple is that. Also on Android, I am able to open all my files with my installed app without any difficulties

This guy went to say that iOS 7 is great then claiming iPhone 4 runs iOS 7 better. But in the end, he said that he brought an iPhone 5 just for iOS 7.

If this isn't a mindless following, then I don't know what is

It's obvious English isn't your first language but you obviously fail to read punctuation because I've read that post and not once does that person say iOS 7 runs better on an iPhone 4 than a 5. Try again.

"Used to", ok... And via Safari, is that even possible without jailbreak? In any case, the splitscreen on TouchWiz is such a simple way of doing it because I never have to mess with anything but the actual YouTube app, in which links clicked in other apps will activate. Besides, if I want to watch the goals from last night's game or whatever I can just slide the screen divider down a bit and continue chatting with my girlfriend in the other window.

iOS is the one really complicated. This is 2013, people have more than 1 computers, but you still can't sync music from more than 1 computers. It is still impossible for me to send one file from one app to other app ( for example, I downloaded a movie from my torrent app and there is no way for me to send this file to my video app.)

All Apple fan think above things aren't useful and trying their best to defends Apple. But the fact is that when it gets into real work flow, iOS is way to complicate than Android

Oh it is ever so simple. :apple:

I download a song from my iPhone, its already on my iPad, MacBook Pro, and Apple TV. Also I have iTunes Match, so anything I put in my iTunes library is automatically on all my devices without syncing.

I dont see why I would need to Sync from more than one computer, I dont download music files illegally. Plus if I do I have iTunes Match so it eliminates syncing...Yes your right.... its 2013 :apple:

I pretty much always get excited for the events, even when I'm not in the market for anything. Just to see what new is coming.

I love the style of presentation and format of the Apple Keynotes even if it is everything that I expect it. The images are nice and crisp, the videos are smooth and professional and the audience is hyped up..nothing like it in any other ecosystem...Looking forward to DL iOS 7 on Tuesday and trying out the final build!

If you know nothing about Apple and its tick-tock strategy then you are bound to be disappointed like user-name-here. This is a tock keynote, always was slated to be always would be.

There will be no surprises, no major leaps. Nothing but a nice update to the best of breed mobile device there is: faster, better camera, more colour options.

This is how Apple has ALWAYS operated, dating back to the launch of the iMac. If you haven't caught on by now I am shaking my head at you.

Now what I AM excited about is iOS7 being released, seeing wide user and developer adoption and we can see refresh of our entire app ecosystem. That is genuinely possibly the most exciting thing that has happened in years.

beside there is nothing I can do on iPhone because of that tiny screen...

Hmm, that seems weird, and I suppose YMMV, but I was able to (just to name a few): facilitate several major business deals, share documents, capture my family/trips/events in photos and videos, listen to music, coordinate meetings, handle video collaboration, play videos on TVs while traveling, plan parties through FB, make appointments, reserve tables, listen to podcasts, program our DVR, buy movie tickets, transfer money, entertain my 5 year old ... all on my iPhone 4S.

The screen size didn't prevent me from being effective in business, entertaining myself/family and provide me a mechanism for sharing and communication.

:)

Good way to state it :) And it is a very successful business model for Apple, highly profitable too (unless I am mistaken..)

I'm thinking that wouldn't Apple wait to release iOS 7? Do you really think its coming on the 10th? Wouldn't that affect sakes?

Who needs a new iPhone when we already have iOS 7 right?

The GM from what I'm hearing is going to be out on the 10th if they have their keynote then! I remember that from last year too! They will release it to the public a week later I do believe

The 10th is the day iOS 7 is released to carriers and developers. It will be the GM. This same GM will start leaking out for other savvy users to download later that day.

iOS won't officially be released to the public until the day the iPhone 5S goes on sale or the night before.

Ohhh. That makes sense.

I'm looking forward to seeing what new stuff they will announce, but I'm not overly excited about it.

I am interested in seeing a retina iPad Mini.

I too am excited in seeing an iPad mini with retina display, would go well with my iphone 5 and gaming pc!

:)

You see, SakuraSuki is one of those teens who stare at their android home screen all day, looking at how "awesome" their animated wallpaper is. (and of course, troll on apple forums for the other half of their day).

Maybe it's just me but I actually request the day off when Apple has its events. When my boss asks me what I want the day off for I just say "family events".

Haha good for you! It's a good opportunity to take a day off, relax and watch the keynote live!

don't forget the ensuing aftermath where all fanboys and normal people alike state their opinions about the state of Apple and the products they are releasing..
