Haha yup. I hardly ever ask for time off which is why I always get the day I want when I want it. Plus always working mornings, I would generally miss the live keynote. Apart from that, like anshuvorty said, being part of the million conversations started about the new product is entertaining.

Yes via safari, no jailbreak. So you learn something new, rather than tout impossibility....

Incremental to the Note 2, but far and away more exciting than a pending iPhone 5S release - screen is gorgeous on the Note. Granted that faux leather back is awful, but it would be in a case anyway. The S Pen air gestures etc are a great addition too.

TBH, Apple software has always been better, both for home machines and mobile devices - I genuinely hope iOS 7 breaths a breath of fresh air for what feels like something I've owned for eternity - I've been on iOS since the 3G but I can see it being a novelty for a month or so and it just feeling dull again. This is the part where everybody says, 'well it works so why change it?' but it is more of a personal thing. I like change, I like to experiment with different things in life, especially my tech. That's not to say that I wouldn't miss iOS because I've jumped ship before and come running back. I just wish they'd implement a bigger screen phone.

Anyway, I'll reserve judgement until tomorrow. I would usually have started to format a plan to sell my current phone to buy the 'next' iPhone by now but I'm just not bothered this year. 🙂
 
After all this leaks it looks like this will be the most boring phone 2013 (and for Apple most of 2014). Screen, screen size, even iOS 7 is just a bit more than new paint.

I really hope they got something interesting tomorrow.

Why would he be? Dude likes Apple and he never takes a day off so when keynotes are presented, he likes to relax and watch them, what's wrong with that?

Well, if you want something bigger than 4" you'll have to go android 'cause I doubt Apple will do it anytime soon. And the current display is perfect, fitting more pixels would only kill the battery faster. 320 ppi is high enough for me.

Well, it's not only about screen size, it's the whole package that's lagging behind. And I don't want to use Android.

In my opinion, why not save it for something a little more important? When I was working last year around this time, I didn't take the day off but I watched some of it on my lunch break etc... This year I might sleep through the whole thing but thats what is great about the internet, you get to watch it on youtube or anywhere else for that matter in case you missed it!! Life comes before gadgets and keynotes IMO!

To be honest the only thing I am looking forward to is downloading the GM and thats it...The other stuff only mildly interests me!

I didn't meant to be rude or anything, I just think its a little excessive to take off a day just for the keynote! If you took a day off to relax and it ended up being on the day of the keynote, than thats fine LOL But I guess its the same as people finding it weird that I bought the iPhone 5 just for iOS 7!

But koodos for him for not taking tons of days off during the year!! 🙂

As for Apple stuff, I'm actually mostly looking forward to be able to get the iOS 7 GM and install it on my iPhone 5.

You sell your iPhone, just like I did and then buy the IP5..I sold it for $300 and then paid $200 for the IP5...And guess what Im buying the iPhone 5S outright because I cant upgrade until 2016..and giving this phone to my mom! And yes I have that amount of money to burn!

It's kinda the same thing like you spending money on a new iPhone and some folks went crazy over it. He is a grown adult and can do as he pleases as well. 😉
