So after initial issues with my 6S Plus I got a replacement. It's perfect. However, I had to buy a new iPhone in store and then return mine to the online store via UPS. So I'm another £700 down for now.

Fast forward to today. My girlfriends 6S 64GB in rose gold is delivered. The section where the first row of app icons is is completely unresponsive. I have an appointment at the Apple Store today and I plan on claiming some compensation from the store.

When I had reoccurring issues during the 5s launch, the Apple Store gave me a Apple leather case for my troubles. I didn't even ask for it. Maybe try and get two of those?

Update: got a replacement 6S 64GB in rose gold. Only replacement unit they had. Tried to get some compensation for all of my issues but they were adamant that they were going to give me nothing. Thanks apple

I've got quite a few problems going on with my 6s plus... I have the weird backlighting issue at the top of my screen, my speaker is distorted, and i have the pressure point problem at the bottom left of the screen... I really want to exchange my phone since I'm in 2 week return window, but no apple store near me has any 6s plus models in stock

Why not just return the 6S Plus and keep checking and hopefully you can reserve one? Do you not have a phone to use in the mean time?

I have this backlighting issue as well on my iPhone 6s Plus. Multiple shadows/ bleeding at the top of the screen. It can only be seen on light backgrounds. Anybody experiencing similar backlight bleeding?

my 6s plus and my express replacement also had/have this...so dont think youll find one without...i originally returned the first one over a buzz/vibrate sound on phone call...replacement has it as well..so at this point will wait til over holidays and do another applecare

Billymac19 does your Apple Care automatically reset on your units when you do the express replacement? I have an iPhone 6 that had it done, express replacement, a couple times and each time it's a nightmare to get the Apple care put back on the replacement unit. It takes me 60 minutes being transferred around the place.

It' making me a bit leary to ever do another express pr

Yes, 100 percent the same on mine. I almost with this was a thread so we could see how widespread this particular issue is. If every phone is like this, I won't bother hoping for another one without it.

It's not ideal because if your phone is laying on the desk with something white background on it, you can see it as you keep looking down at your phone, since it is at just the right angle then.

If its widespread I definitely won't bother going through a replacement. However, I purchased 5 other iPhones 6s' for family members and theirs do not have this issue. My 6s Plus is the only one, could it be due to the larger screen?

Looks like the home button on my 6S Plus only works if I press near the bottom of the circle. Anywhere else it makes the clicking noise, but doesn't register as a press.

i actually didnt get applecare until i got this replacement, once i seen this was the same as the original i figured i might as well get it for the future replacement i know i will be doing, but in the past when i've done replacements the applecare DID automatically get placed on the replacements..when you set up the replacement i would make sure too discuss this with the rep and make sure they switch it then too the new one

Have this same problem but mine is just a gray bar along the top. Not quite as dark as yours. I tried chatting with apple and everything
Guy told me I could get t replaced via mail but would be charged the 30 dollar fee, and be charged a hold on my account for the full price of the phone until they received the one I have now (which being in college I don't have 900 damn dollars lying around to do so) so now I can't even get a replacement

Finally turned my phone in for a refund today. Really disappointed that I had to do this, but I was not willing to accept a phone with defects. I had the backlight issue, the pinch near the bottom left of the display (I even saw this on the employee's phone who was helping me out, it was worse than mine), and an uneven display tint. Really hoping the next batches fix these issues. Back to the 4s for now, until I can fix my 5s.

I just bought an iPhone 6s from my local AT&T store on Friday. I've now noticed that the top left corner of the screen as darker and the right side of the screen has a slight yellowish discoloration. Now that I'm aware of it I can't stop noticing it.

Should I try and get a replacement at the AT&T store or just go to an Apple store? And if I get a replacement from an Apple store and am still dissatisfied will I be able to return that replacement phone (within the 14 days) to AT&T still or not because it's not the original one I purchased from them?

You'll need to go to the store you purchased from, so you'll need to go the AT&T store.

I tried asking that second part to the Apple employee I was talking to, and they sort of avoided it. They mentioned that I would have to cancel the loan agreement (I purchased the phone through T-Mobile's EIP), THEN the phone would be eligible for return. What this suggested to me was that I wouldn't be able to get a refund after getting a replacement, because the IMEI's and other numbers would no longer match the phone I financed through T-Mobile. Good luck.

It's not much of an issue but I noticed that 2/3 6s Plus' in my household have a home button that wiggles if you gently place your finger on it and try to move it. Third model is stiff like my iPad Air 2. Not a real issue, but I definitely noticed it.

Yep. One of my silver plus models had it bad so I returned it and got a new one. My personal Plus has this issue as well, but it isn't bad enough to warrant running around to replace it. Both phones were bought at launch.

My third phone which I got a few days after from the Apple Store doesn't have it all.

Don't have this issue, AT&T 64gb SG, 6S+

Has anyone who bought their iPhone 6s or 6s Plus from AT&T and who has the screen discoloration/darkness defect tried replacing it? Did you do it at an AT&T store? How was your experience with that? Was the replacement defect free?

First iPhone 6s had issues. Constant boot loop, would not restore from DFU and the screen would go funny. Check pic.

I should add that the replacement is very buggy, and reading through the forums it would seem like we're seeing a drop in QC?

My buddy's only works if he presses the top half. He's taking it back to exchange.

That's what they told me. So after the replacement they were offering had a dead pixel, I figured I'd just hold onto mine. Thankfully mine is working great now so I won't have to deal with returning to T-Mobile.
