So after initial issues with my 6S Plus I got a replacement. It's perfect. However, I had to buy a new iPhone in store and then return mine to the online store via UPS. So I'm another £700 down for now.
Fast forward to today. My girlfriends 6S 64GB in rose gold is delivered. The section where the first row of app icons is is completely unresponsive. I have an appointment at the Apple Store today and I plan on claiming some compensation from the store.
Why not just return the 6S Plus and keep checking and hopefully you can reserve one? Do you not have a phone to use in the mean time?I've got quite a few problems going on with my 6s plus... I have the weird backlighting issue at the top of my screen, my speaker is distorted, and i have the pressure point problem at the bottom left of the screen... I really want to exchange my phone since I'm in 2 week return window, but no apple store near me has any 6s plus models in stock

I have this backlighting issue as well on my iPhone 6s Plus. Multiple shadows/ bleeding at the top of the screen. It can only be seen on light backgrounds. Anybody experiencing similar backlight bleeding?View attachment 589387
Billymac19 does your Apple Care automatically reset on your units when you do the express replacement? I have an iPhone 6 that had it done, express replacement, a couple times and each time it's a nightmare to get the Apple care put back on the replacement unit. It takes me 60 minutes being transferred around the place.
It' making me a bit leary to ever do another express pr
Yes, 100 percent the same on mine. I almost with this was a thread so we could see how widespread this particular issue is. If every phone is like this, I won't bother hoping for another one without it.
It's not ideal because if your phone is laying on the desk with something white background on it, you can see it as you keep looking down at your phone, since it is at just the right angle then.

i actually didnt get applecare until i got this replacement, once i seen this was the same as the original i figured i might as well get it for the future replacement i know i will be doing, but in the past when i've done replacements the applecare DID automatically get placed on the replacements..when you set up the replacement i would make sure too discuss this with the rep and make sure they switch it then too the new one
Have this same problem but mine is just a gray bar along the top. Not quite as dark as yours. I tried chatting with apple and everythingI have this backlighting issue as well on my iPhone 6s Plus. I just bought an iPhone 6s from my local AT&T store on Friday. I've now noticed that the top left corner of the screen as darker and the right side of the screen has a slight yellowish discoloration. Now that I'm aware of it I can't stop noticing it.
Should I try and get a replacement at the AT&T store or just go to an Apple store? And if I get a replacement from an Apple store and am still dissatisfied will I be able to return that replacement phone (within the 14 days) to AT&T still or not because it's not the original one I purchased from them?

Don't have this issue, AT&T 64gb SG, 6S+Billymac19 does your Apple Care automatically reset on your units when you do the express replacement? The lock button on my 6 Plus button was sinked inside but it's ok on the 6s Plus.Nothing major, but I noticed my lock button is more sinked inside and its a bit harder to press compared to my 6 plus.
Looks like the home button on my 6S Plus only works if I press near the bottom of the circle. Anywhere else it makes the clicking noise, but doesn't register as a press.
You'll need to go to the store you purchased from, so you'll need to go the AT&T store.
I tried asking that second part to the Apple employee I was talking to, and they sort of avoided it. They mentioned that I would have to cancel the loan agreement (I purchased the phone through T-Mobile's EIP), THEN the phone would be eligible for return. What this suggested to me was that I wouldn't be able to get a refund after getting a replacement, because the IMEI's and other numbers would no longer match the phone I financed through T-Mobile. Good luck.
