... Because installing a 3rd party app is hard?
No 'installing a 3rd party app' isn't hard, but, compared to having it built into all your devices automatically, and working without you having to do anything, it really sucks to have to:
- Realize that there even exists a quality of life benefit in having something like those options mentioned above.
- Do the research to find the best/safest 3rd party app.
- Install it ... and not just on your one device, but on all of them.
- Configure them all.
- Hope that company doesn't go out of business, share your data/information, etc.
- Re-do most of that when you get a new device.
