Really? To each their own but I look at my white 3GS (which I swapped out the display for a white one (like the 4/5, which looks pretty great) and my sister's white 4 and its clear which one is more timeless. The 5c is like a refined 3GS, which I feel would be more timeless by comparison.

I still like the original and the 4-series the most. The design seems essentially to have gone back to to the same profile, just thinner and wider. The facia tho is still "classic iPhone" look, if you know what I mean. It never quite "fit" with the flatter ones (4/5)...
But, I'm "just" a coder and don't win Webbys. My team just gets featured by Apple in those fancy Apple Business videos so what in hell do I know. I sit next to a top-notch designer every day and work in tandem...but eh.

You are right. Any worker who does not have a break every half an hour (or whatever) and get paid $10.10 per hour and work around 6 hours a day...... you know, it's definitely a SLAVE!! When will people realise that the rest of the world is not America??
On the topic, I think this thing is the real iP 6! Quite disappointed on 2 visual things. 1 - the thick bezels, 2- the extra stupid row of icons

iPhone 3gs = best
iPhone 4 = best just got better
IPhone 5/5s = meh, best is continuing tradition I guess
iPhone 6 (leaks) = meh it looks whatever. Kinda underwhelming in fact.
All in all, we'll see after tomorrow. I can't wait for the keynote either way.

It's same in Japan. There are apps that in Japanese and there's app are in english. So this is definitely legit.

I don't know how much they can really do about that from an engineering standpoint since they seem to be committed to TouchID; you need a decent surface area to get a fairly wide view of a fingerprint.
Interestingly enough, that same area corresponds to about 44 "points" which is the minimum size recommended for a touchable area in at least one dimension by the HIG.
They really do put a lot of thought into this stuff. I just feel for my pals down south that have to read some of this crap like they were too stupid to consider other options...

I don't know..I've got a 3GS right here...I guess looking at it, the 6 is like like a pancaked 3GS in Original Flavor(ish) color.
If only. You know the grey won't be available with a black front, so I'm likely going to get whichever one that ends up being...I was never a fan of the white models.

Whose life is SO empty that they have to "kill" time inbetween the current time and an upcoming event? We are all anticipating the 9/9 event, but seriously - "killing time"? Wow - I feel sympathy for people with little patience and nothing better to fulfil them between tech release announcements. I don't mean that in a condescending manner, I genuinely feel sad that people feel the need to skip the immediacy of here and now, only to jump into a future time (which they can't, obviously) because they feel that this future event is going to be "better" than now...
It really makes me sad, and also irritates me that people waste the gift of life, frittering it away with wishing they were at some other time and/or place. Enjoy NOW, and enjoy the future when it becomes now

Don't know about that, but I'm 100 % sure that this is what the iPhone 6 will look like. Sure, the actual press shots and renders will look a lot better and more finished, but in the grand scheme of things this is what is coming.
