You know I wish we didn’t have leaks so there are at least surprises when watching the keynote now there’s no excitement because you know almost everything
Not really, I wanna know what this new damn health sensor is

That’s one ugly watch face
Why would it need an extra mic?
Apple is suffering from a major leak that has allowed 9to5Mac to discover images of the upcoming "iPhone XS" models and the Apple Watch Series 4, giving us an idea of what to expect when the new devices are announced on September 12.
As can be seen in the photo below, the new Apple Watch models feature smaller bezels for more visible screen space, which allows for new complications arranged in a round configuration, which could be a nod to the media invites that went out earlier today.

Rumors have suggested the displays of the new Apple Watch models are 15 percent larger, which appears to be in line with the video.
Apple is clearly planning to introduce at least one new watch face, which appears to be able to support a total of eight complications. Four complications are included on the watch face itself, underneath the hands, while another four are located at the edges of the display.
Interestingly, the Apple Watch in the image features a shiny gold enclosure, which appears to be shinier than previous aluminum models, perhaps suggesting a stainless steel option with a gold finish. It could also be shiner in the Apple marketing materials, though.
There's a new hole below the Digital Crown, which is perhaps another microphone, and the Digital Crown has a red outline rather than a full red dot.
Apple will unveil the Apple Watch Series 4 models alongside new 2018 iPhones on September 12, at a 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time event that's set to be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus. Apple will live stream the event, but for those who cannot watch, MacRumors will be featuring live coverage both on the site and on our MacRumorsLive Twitter account.

Yawn, the picture tells nothing new from rumors. We need more health monitoring functions! Apple Tricorder style.
The extra hole is the sim card eject hole, the new haptic side button now doubles as a sim card tray. LOL unlikely
anyone else notice the crown of the watch is the "circle" design on the invite?
Please - have some compassion with design guru J. Ive who had an incredibly busy year shaving off 4% bezel space.Pretty bored of these incremental updates to the look. iMac, MacBook Pros, iPhones, iPads, and especially Apple Watch have remained largely unchanged for years. With the exception of the new screen on the iPhone X, nothing about the devices makes me have that old "gotta have the new one" feeling any more.![]()
Pretty fun watch face they've made there. I desperately want more complications on a single watch face. I also watch more themed watch faces like: Old school Digital; CyberPunk; Victorian; Industrial; Seasonal; Executive; 80s...
the list is endless, yet all Apple has given us in about 4 years is 15 odd faces. And some of them are a bit lame. That's pathetic if you ask me. They should be releasing about 10 a year at least. How hard can it be to come up with exciting watch faces?
Yuck, another ugly square watch.
Please explain how thinner means lighter. It doesn't always. That looks sick!! And maybe even thinner, which means lighter, which both are fine by me!
The angle is deceiving, here is a diagram of the 38mm. It’s plain to see the bezels are quite large (note the “display active area”.)I understand the rumored changes but that image doesn’t have proof to corroborate those speculations is all I’m saying. There are no defined lines for the bezel visible and that watch face appears to be able to fit on existing watches.
FFS can we get a digital seconds number? I'm tired of looking at hands. Yes, I'm able to read hands, but it's a stupid waste of very small screen space.
Jeez that watch face is comically bad. I'll be speechless if they actually show it off during a demo in the keynote.

Cars watch facesBut you got Toy Story faces! What more could an adult want?!

Agreed on the faces, it is about time for a 3rd party curated store where people are invited to make one, rather than submit millions of dreck that Apple have to sift through.
The UV would be detected where you are rather than a place miles away.People are whining about that face having too many complications... Guess what: don't use it. Nobody's forcing you to. I switch between 3 different faces because I use complications so extensively, this face is a godsend.
And I don't know why any of you think Apple is going to waste space in the watch for a UV sensor when you can pull up UV indexes from the internet...
