Probably minor fixes with software. The type of things that most users wouldn't even notice, but maybe devs would.

I love iOS4 in general, but I've been waiting for this update to fix the bad wifi and other problems on my iPod touch, and it finally comes out and it's just for iPhones? What's the deal?!

I'm guessing this update isn't addressing the fact that the OS is so unnervingly slow on the 3G?

The damn phone has crashed 6 times since the update and that is 6 times more than it did over the last 2 years. Apps are crashing. Overall, just really, really sloooooow. Good thing I just ordered an EVO. I'll use this as an iPod. Hell, even iTunes crashed yesterday. That's never happened before.

This better not be a software hoax to indicate more bars then there really is...
No, the number of bars shown will be reduced to comply with reality. The iPhone 4 has been showing too many bars.

You may have to wait even longer. I think Apple is more concerned about the iPhone 4 right now and making sure it doesn't get a bad rap. Well, anymore than it has right now.

Press conference announcement:

"We have officially discovered how to permanently prevent Jailbreaking, and all of you just downloaded it yesterday. Suckers. Enjoy the reception."

does anyone know what directory iTunes downloads all these update files into? I want to see if it's overwriting the previous D/L, or if i have a ton of these files sitting in a folder somewhere? if so, gotta delete that crap...

i mean, i have a 180gbs left on my brand new, sweet 2010 17" MacBook Pro, but really... you never know when you're gonna need the space ;)
