A bit disappointed that the Watch gets wireless charging (as limited as it is) but the phones were left out.
There is absolutely no reason for Apple to make any product with 16GB in 2014/15. The manufacturing cost difference between this and 32GB is nothing in a device that costs this much.

classic apple keeping 16GB as the standard... $#$# greedy a$$ 16gb is about $10-$15 these days.
And do you really think that specs tell the tale of which phone is a better device to actually own and use?
yet will be the best performing. Numbers don't mean so much these days.. the iPhone will not be lacking in any way.. the display will be beautiful, etc.. Apple don't need to stick the best of everything because they can sell their products on eco-system. these other manufacturers only have hardware as a selling point.
The sexy smooth lines have gone, we now have an ugly pimple on the back :-(
I was a bit unimpressed by the whole thing, but I will probably trade in my 5s for the 6 (not the plus). I will wait to see it in the store and for apple pay to be released however. If I buy now this will be the reason. I am not sure about the phone, but maybe once in my hand I can learn to love it.

Whatever, as long as the parts on it are all better than the rest despite having worse numbers. If it's anything like the previous generation, the other phones' specs are like how AMD is with CPU clock speeds. The only things to complain about are the RAM (if it ends up being 1GB) and the cost for extra storage, the two specs that actually matter.

I believe the current rumor is that teh iPad event will be held next month. Hang on to your britches.
Soooo…. seems like Apple stuck with "shatter-resistant" Gorilla Glass for iPhone 6, rather than go with "scratch-resistant" Sapphire.
What's the consensus, boys and girls? Did Apple make the right technical decision by sticking with Gorilla Glass for the time being? I remember that a few days ago, a vast horde of MR posters were opining that GG was still a better choice than Sapphire as far as iPhone is concerned.
P.S. — and yes, it certainly made sense to use sapphire in the Apple Watch, since a watch will be subjected to potential scratches, dings, bumps and scrapes all day long since your hand and arms move all the time in all directions. Rarely will you "drop" your watch to a hard floor and see it shatter like glass.

Good news, people. It seems the protruding camera lens will magically flush with the back when you put it down or turn it sideways lol.
there is no point of comparing iphone to the rest cuz it WILL ALWAYS behind if specs. the only sig of IP6 is the screen size which needed in order to sell more phone otherwise they would lose $$$ for this year.
i'm happy with the IP5 except for the small 4" sze but that's why i have ipad mini retina for the rest of reading and browsing. phone is getting to a point of useless for many features that not being utilized these days.
Now I'm seriously considering the 5S, which will undoubtedly drop it price.
Theses new iPhones just don't seem like anything special, and not just because everything already leaked.
- I don't really need a bigger phone than the 4'', I don't watch any videos on it or play many games. But I do like the iOS experciene, so iPhone is still my choice, just not 6 or 6+
- Personally, the design made a step backward. Especially the protruding camera.
- The 6 didn't add anything i'd wish the 5S would have. Yea, it's faster and has better graphics, but that'll always be the case. Camera is a minor improvement, and i'd rather use my NEX-6.
- Apple pay isn't very interesting because I just pay with 1 card and I also live in Europe, where they won't introduce this for quite some time.
