So the decision is: Do I go with the inferior crippled iPhone 6 or the too expensive iPhone 6 Plus? hmmm, didn't this guy learn from the 5C disaster? One of the keys to the iPhone success was the simplicity of one device. Good thing Steve left Tim Cook a powerhouse of a company and it can survive **** like this. ******* YOU Tim Cook.

That's not very many ppi for that big of a display. Anyone know what the color gamut is on the new ones?

He would be against this because Mr. Jobs would never allow Apple to put out a product that was garbage. He would rather end life the iPhone than sell these. Pick up a Lumia phone or a Samsung phone from LAST YEAR and you will know what we are talking about.

Because you and Steve were best buddies back in the day and you know everything about him right?

Am I the only one disappointed with this announcement? Still the same old 8mp camera but wait we updated the software and sensor for it...... and why the **** did they drop the 32 gig and not the 16 gig.... I love apple but some times I hate them when they make me look like an idiot buying their products. Im getting the iphone 6 but really it seems like this is a slight upgrade from the 5s

Too big

Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big. Too big.

The jump in the base model was unnecessary. Should have stayed with 4 inch and introduced absurd large phone for the people that want it. Too much at one time.

4S - still the best iPhone! Best size, best construction, best feel. I want a new iPhone, but I cannot handle a phone so big. I must wait for the iPhone AIR - now back to 4 inches. Horray!

seriously, Steve is turning over in his grave today. :(

True Steve never liked big screens on phones, but he doesn't run Apple anymore. Now they can finally follow the market trend and have their own big screened phone. They will sell a lot of these phones and I am glad they finally gave up on little screens.

I really like the design.

Did you forget to take these off?

Don´t care for the protruding lens, but I love that the rounded edges are back. Always hated how the iPhone 4 felt in my hand, loved my first one.
As for the back, I couldn+t care less how it looks, as I tend to look at my phone from the front. The feel is more important than the look to me.

Tim Cook is spineless unlike Steve. Next we'll see the iPhone 6s mini, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the iPhone 6s Mega and then we can call the company Samsung. I'm not a Steve Jobs follower but the guy had guts to go against what the "experts" were telling him what the market wanted. He created the most valuable brand in the world and Tim Cook is watering it down. RIP Steve Jobs.

If they would have made them exactly the same, this would be a no brainer.
But that's not the case. It's never the case.

iPhone 6 (don't know which one), I hope you're ready for me.

Two things I need to know:

1 What will be the cost of an unlocked 64gb 6 in Canada, and

2 Why didn't they have 32gb standard?

Oh, and a bonus question. Is next year's 5.5" model going to be called the iPhone 6S Plus? Long winded!

It's inexcusable really.

As was the livestream. Dodgy Chinese voiceover, constant freezing and error messages, the whole thing was completely amateur... and here I was thinking Apple was one of the biggest tech companies in the world with massive dedicated data centres.

It doesn't really give you much confidence in giving them control over a massive percentage of in-store payments.

Pre order?

At what time / day can you pre order the new phones? Their site isn't running 100% and I can't find out...

Watch gets magsafe charging not wireless.

No, it IS induction charging, it just clips on to the back of the device with a magsafe-like system. You can now be the judge to decide if that sounds completely stupid or not.

Actually compares pretty well with other phones. Not sure what the big deal is? The RAM sucks, and the camera is weak but things like RAM - not sure why they matter at all. Different operating systems need different RAM. More is always better I guess, but most iPhones always "feel" as snappy or snappier than comparable android phones.

Recording video in 1080p sucks - as in I wish I could record in 720p. I don't need hi-res videos of kids screaming beyond a certain point. 4K recording - holy waste of space.

I think we pay alot for the fit and finish of the product. Competing on specs is not really Apples point. Another reason so disappointing they caved on screen size and went monster!

No sapphire glass. Fail :(
1GB Ram. Fail. :(
No stylus. Fail. :(
No optical stabilization on 4.7". Fail :(
No 4K. Fail. :(
8 MP camera. Fail. :(
Apple watch has to be connected with Iphone for GPS. Fail. :(
No significant battery improvements. Fail. :(
Stupid U2 Crap. Fail. :(
Big fat barbie watch. Fail. :(

16gb is useless today. They know this. Wtf?

Apple knows exactly which models people buy the most... and it's always been the 16GB model. And there are tons of iPhones that don't even use half of that space.

The good news is... for only $100 more you get 4 TIMES the space.

Apple has always been good at upselling.

I would rather Apple didn't follow the market like sheep and kept making the best products. Just like how Apple didn't follow the market trend for netbook but instead made the iPad.

Nothing revolutionary about a larger screen phone.
