i am scared about the size and weight. steve jobs would never allow this super size....

Well since they finally copied Android by offering larger screens maybe next year they will finally copy LG and introduce a trim "almost" bezel free 5.5" phone like the G3.

With that said, I am much more interested in the iPhone since they finally have decent sized screens. I would like to see them trim down the design a bit in the future because the iPhone 5.5 looks a lot more bulky then the G3.

You forgot Apple creating phablets but calling them phones.

So pretty much as predicted - impressive that they managed to keep the design of the :apple:Watch under wraps so well.

I like the curvyness of the iPhone 6, but the yucky rear bands and totally awful protruding camera are a bit sad. Guess I'll just have to look at mine from front-on!

Still don't understand the drive to be so thin, especially with the protruding camera. Just make the dang thing thicker and fill the extra space with battery - we'd all love more battery power!

I am buying the iPhone 6 Plus 128GB no contract version for t-mobile.

The thing I am worried about is I dont need it at all but I am still going to buy it. My iPhone 5S works great and looks like new.

How do I control this or am I forever hypnotized?

When the apple watch comes out again I will buy that too.

I want a bigger screen, I want more pixels to fill that screen, I want a bigger battery, I want a faster processor, I'm okay with it doing Pay stuff...but why is it still only 8MP??

I don't need the 40+ from Nokia, or even the 20 from Sony, but even 12 would have been a nice improvement. But thank goodness the front camera now lets in more light. Oh and extra slo-mo. Other phones can do 4K.

It's not a deal breaker - I need a new phone, but still disappointed that the only practical change to the camera is that it sticks out more.

I'm sorry but this is sad. Same look same home button. Same everything. Nothing innovative but gimmicks since the iPhone 4. And the 6 isn't even 1080p I was hoping to come back from my nexus 5 but this is unimpressive in every aspect.
Not to mention apple.com says 50x faster than the first iPhone. Wow good advertising. It should be cause that's 6 phones ago. I feel bad for Steve Jobs hard work in the past he would be rolling in his grave.

The 6+ is 1080p...

So the decision is: Do I go with the inferior crippled iPhone 6 or the too expensive iPhone 6 Plus? hmmm, didn't this guy learn from the 5C disaster? One of the keys to the iPhone success was the simplicity of one device. Good thing Steve left Tim Cook a powerhouse of a company and it can survive **** like this. ******* YOU Tim Cook.

what the f? what 5c disaster? it's the second best selling handset for the US carriers!

$400 for the iPhone 6 plus is just too much. 16GB is too small and should not be an option. The standard 6 is crippled in the camera, resolution and battery life.

No use having the best specs/numbers but you don't optimize it's usage! ;)
I'd be very worried if people use the iPhone camera for professional purposes ala professional photography. Thank heavens it has no stylus. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the existing screens to watch movies. It's crystal clear to some of us ;)
We are also use to charging a smartphone every night anyway so it doesn't affect some of us that make high use of our smartphones.

Yours Sincerely,
A Proud Samsung Galaxy User

Apple knows exactly which models people buy the most... and it's always been the 16GB model. And there are tons of iPhones that don't even use half of that space.

The good news is... for only $100 more you get 4 TIMES the space.

Apple has always been good at upselling.

I'm pretty sure if they had the minimum at 32 GB, more people would be less inclined to go up. For me 32 is the real minimum. It doesn't really cost them that much to go from 32 to 64.

You forgot Apple creating phablets but calling them phones.

The 4.7" is not a phablet... heck the 5.5" is barely one. I know you love tiny screens so go and buy a 5S since it is still offered. If Apple had stuck with 4" only like you wanted them to I promise in a year or two they would be headed down the same path BlackBerry took. Right into the dumpster...

The world is moving on to larger screens so it's time you do as well.

When all of Apples competitors offer phones that allow its customers to increase its memory (up to 128GB), Apple are shamefully saying "***** you, pay me" to theirs by still persisting with 16GB as the base model. It's just plain greed.

Personally I think that the thinner bezels, sapphire screen, thinner antenna lines, flattened camera lens and nicer colouring will all be in the next iPhone iteration, the 6S.

Not too impressed with new iphone, will stick with my 5s as it's still running great. So basically all the form factor leaks were correct right?

The iPhone 6+ is 1920x1080. Hmmm. No @3x resolution. What does this mean for the UI? Will UI elements be slightly smaller due to the increased ppi?

I'd hate to have some slightly blurry interpolated resolution even though the pixel density is greater.
