For those of us that are nervous....is there an installation guide on the interwebs somewhere?

I want the cleanest, previous-gunk-free install possible whilst not messing anything up.

Please, no snoop doggy dogg or hip hop references by EECS majors posting on macintosh rumor sites.

Ordered mine from Apple Canadian Store.

Unlike most people here it says ships by August 28th and not delivered by August 28th. :(
Same...maybe we'll be lucky. I really don't want to have to wait til monday.

All of this has happened before and it will happen again.

I made a thread about the redundancy of many posts around here. My suggestion is to make a guide on it and just link it.

Its a real problem though when a topic explodes like this. We're nearly at 50 pages in under 24 hours, so someone coming in late might struggle to find the answers unless they go through every page, which many just won't have the time or the inclination to do.

Maybe the first post in the thread should be updated with answers to common questions? Should be easy enough to collate on any software or hardware release as the same old questions always seem to be asked time and time again.

MAC OS 10.7 LYNX

been running the developer build a friend who had access to the developer site gave me on my laptop noticed very nice speed improvements throughout.

My order confirmation from Apple list that "shipment" is "Delivery by August 28th 2009." So I am assuming that its going to ship out a day or two before the 28th. Well actually a day since I am in Cali.
