snow leopard?? ... whatever .... i have my new case to play with :D

exactly snow.. who?

You begin to see why MS stage out their Windows releases... this must be a logistical nightmare.. bet its stressful in the apple warehouses.

In my experience normally courier usually ships later in the evening and normally ends up at your house the next day.. so fingers crossed for you. :)

Thanks for the good wishes! The Deja Vu I'm feeling is down having done this exact routine for both the Leopard and Snow Leopard launches. Panther I picked up from PC World back in the day, with the big black box with the big X on the front prompting the sales girl to ask "What is THAT?!".

My Mrs is willing for a courier delivery otherwise I'll end up in Starbucks, Yo Sushi or both.

I remember being curious about Windows 7 being released, a few months back. I am an AVID Mac user and evangelist, but I thought, for a Windows release, that Windows 7 was actually not too bad, relative to older versions.

I installed the RC on my family's laptop, and they have no problems, but I installed it on a Friend's quad core Medion (UGHHH!!) pc last night... and I have NEVER had SUCH a nightmare experience in a LONG time... ARGGGH!!.

I am SO glad I have my loyalty to the Apple camp; as my friend said last night "OHHHH MY GOODNESS, you spend half your LIFE messing about with Windows" - he isn't wrong, it is STILL a mess, and I was so content in the knowledge that I would be going home to a simple, efficient Mac. Shame on MS for STILL not having fixed their mess.

I supposed that is what happens when you copy *ahem* steal, other people's ideas! haha!.

I'm with A.S. How does this thread have 1450 posts? Maybe you all need an IRC room...

make that 1460!!

its funny, why in gods name would ANYONE care about when YOUR copy of Snow Leopard will arrive at your front door???

I guess this is what the internet has turned into...

How do you know you won't have issues with Snow Leopard? Did you read the Engadget review? They had severe issues on one of their machines.

Mine says... Oh look, it just arrived, & I installed it. I *know* the build number, thanks very much, but I think I'll just let you all sweat it until tomorrow, seeing as there are so many rude and pushy people on here.

Mine was a UTD disc, came by courier.

{_PS_} Up to you if you believe me or not :)

It's the screenshots I like the most. I'd never believe it if there wasn't a screenshot.

Ooh, speaking of which, I just got an email!

I know, because I have installed it, and it is working fine, that's how.

Yeah right.

:) yep, right enough, and I'd remind you that I couldn't care less if you believe me - if you're jealous or unbelieving, that is up to you, huh.

Clean install or upgrade on the quad? (If you upgrade a system that's a mess, sometimes the new system is a mess too....)

Not to mention that you installed a beta, not the final product.

It's like a kind of white big cat? I think 11, because the last one was 10, right?

Wow, i didnt know you could get 11 already...
can you post your ups delivery update info, so we can all know what time it will be delivered tomorrow?
Did you get it from Amazon, or Apple or Sears?

You assume he is in the USA?... why??

Well, because only what happens in the USA matters to ME, that's why...

I think I got it from an Apple. That's what the email said anyway. I'm in the UK, so the voltage is different and I think we have twice as many bits. Is 128 bits a lot? Can I give some of the extra bits to my G5 iMac so that it can run Snow Leopard 11 without an Intel Ectual Processor?
