Wasn't Apple rumored to be working on indoor mapping?

I think that was Google. That way they could inventory your house when you mapped it and and present you specific ads based on your location in the house. When in the Kitchen they would suggest some nuts or some yummy Grape Nuts cereal. When in the living room, a new throw rug or a larger Android based TV. Etc. :D

Yes they kept all the same hardware requirements for iOS9, but will I still be able to use iTunes 11.4 on my Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Mac Pro 1,1? If iOS9 requires 10.8 or greater or Windows XP I'll have to stay on iOS8.

Sadly most of these people will never be happy. They can add every feature imaginable and they will still complain that it's not good enough.

And some people will rationalize and defend everything Apple does, no matter what. There were a few interesting things revealed today, but nothing earth shattering or dare I say magical.

Why is split view only available for iPad Air 2. Surely my iPad Air can handle this...I cannot think of why Apple would do this other than to try and spur new iPad sales. Not really cool to owners of the not so old original iPad Air
Our iPad Air 1's can't even handle more than 3 Safari tabs consequently and you expect to run two full apps side by site eating on that one GB of RAM?

I guess there will be a jailbreak tweak for the brave ones, but I'll stick to realism and not stretch the paltry RAM they gave this iPad even more.

Good to know from here on out an iPad update will always make sense on my end, but I can wait a little longer.
For now...

Apple certainly went big with the music app, although I'm not sure there's anything there to make me switch from Spotify. Disappointed we didn't at least get a preview of an Apple TV app store...that little box is probably Apple's biggest wasted opportunity.

This seems invasive

So, no accounts on iOS yet. The one thing anybody with kids has been waiting for since the ipad came out.

Not me. Kids get their own devices

There doesnt seem to be any mention of the shift over to the San Fransisco font. They keyboard definitely has it but I couldn't tell if the whole iOS has this or if OS X got the treatment as well. Did anyone hear about this?

Artists connecting with fans. Um, flashback to Ping? Urgh!

World Radio? Instead of corporate media dictating what I listen to, Apple will be. Live from LA, NYC, and London! But what if I like dance music from Sweden? Or if I like Country Western from Nashville? Or Jazz from New Orleans? Or let me really expand my taste: African? Or Asian? Or if I'm one of three people who like Nickleback? (Just kidding, I don't like Nickleback.) This seems like a must miss.

The streaming service sounds good though. Hopefully artists (especially the lesser known ones) will get more $ than what Spotify et al allocate to them.

All in all this was a 2 hour 30 minute miss other than the two finger cursor thing, (but only on the iPad).

This is like congratulating yourself for waking up this morning. You don't get to "pull an I Told You So" when we all knew there would be NO hardware at WWDC. There hasn't been in some time.
On the contrary. I was told that it was certain that Apple would introduce an update to AppleTV, an updated MacBook Pro, and a new MacMini and I was utterly wrong for thinking otherwise. I received a number of very dismissive replies for saying what you and I expected; no hardware at a developer conference.

I liked what I saw with iOS 9. Not sure what people were expecting. A few new enhancements, but a lot of work under the cover which is what I was expecting. Was hoping for a new Apple TV but I guess that will have to wait. I plan on installing the previews tonight.
I love stability upgrades. A month after the release, iOS will be the greatest it has even been bar none, exactly how Apple had planned.

People still talk about how great Snow Leopard was. iOS 9 is the closest thing iOS has had to Snow Leopard.

Since the Proactive stuff is per device, how is Apple going to deal with folks that use more than one device at a time? Or are device restores going to be in our future?

Yup, it was in the list of new features on the keynote in the background (y'know the one they always do which lists all the things they haven't got time to mention).

It's been well known across Macrumors that no hardware would be at WWDC.

Apple! APPLE! OMG! You did it!

Android, who? We have nearly ALL of their features now! BOOM!
i am completely unimpressed. The new iPhone features could have been released in a x.1 update.
The news app is a joke, developers have released similar apps years ago, why is apple now trying to do all the apps themselves?
Other than that there are like 4 new features which I probably won't use.
This. I couldn't possibly be more underwhelmed. What has Apple been doing? Meh.

Still better than the boring Google Developer conference.
