Well, last week it was only 1 generation old. Now it is two.Only $500 trade in from my 512GB 14PM with 97% health battery lol was $640 last week gift card via Apple.

You’re absolutely right. Thank you for clarifying and sorry for the confusion.Sorry, but this is terribly wrong. The iPhone 15 received a 48MP sensor last year. The first iPhone Pro with 48MP was generation 14.
Has anyone noticed how half of the "new features" are not even new?!
Exact same situation form me. Have had my Pixel 9 Pro Fold since last week and loving the experience so far. I have two lines and will keep my 15 PM but other than Apple Messages interactions and phone calls, going to be using the Pixel 9 Pro Fold for just about everything else.Well, I guess my 15 Pro Max will be my final iPhone I purchase until they do some actual innovation. I will literally keep everything else in place, I love my Apple Watch Ultra, I love my MacBook, I love my iPad, but in the next couple weeks, my main device will switch over to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I will happily come back when there’s some actual innovation or new hardware, but the stagnation and “let’s throw AI at everything”, just doesn’t do it for me chief.
What do you know ?That slide is meant as a broad overview of the device, not as the "Here's everything new!" summary.
What do you know ?
It’s a keynote. It should be an "here’s everything new" but there is so little they changed their mind
It’s easy to tell that’s it’s mainly displaying what’s new, even when trivial, rather than the main specs. But since you’re the one making assumptions you should apply. Maybe you could bring back at least a tiny amount of innovationI know what I see. I see a broad overview of the device. Bold of you to tell Apple how they showcase their products, though. Should see if they're hiring.

That’s okay.. I upvote 120hz for base (can’t believe it’s still not the case!). CheersHonestly, it'd be fun. First order of business - 120hz for the base model, Tandem OLED for the Pros. Then, actually good colors for the whole line.
Sorry for the rudeness btw - in the moment, you know?
No, that’s the Huawei Mate XT TRI-frigging-FOLD Mate XT phone to be announced tomorrow. The Pro Max is the new iPad mini
Of everything you listed, only the 5x telephoto is the only feature I would really want. Maybe the 48mp wide angle.48mp wide angle camera, 5x Telephoto camera (which is actually kinda too long tbh), 4K 120fps Prores Log recording, better battery life, new dedicated and capacitive photo button with haptic feedback, action button, Apple Intelligence... that's about it.
I’m very disappointed this year. if the back of my 12 Pro Max wasn’t cracked I probably wouldn’t be upgrading this year. I’m considering upgrading to the 16+ and then paying it off then selling it next year to get the 17 Pro Max. The colors are so bland on the pros this year and not much has changed from last year with the exception of the size increease.
Would you describe a Porsche 911 as boring?Apple went boring as soon as Steve Jobs passed. Listen, I have a MacBook and an iPhone, and I will be staying with Apple for the foreseeable future, but sweet Jesus, sooo boring. At least, if rumors are to be believed, we will get a thinnest iPhone ever! next year, but where is the flip? Where is the stuff like Motorola MS 150(Korean market), and Serene by Bang and Olufsen? I had both of those and they had the wow factor nailed. They rang distinctively and looked like the future. I remember selling my Serene to some Russian dudes and taking the money and getting the first iPhone. The iPhone was the future, but now?
Oh wow! Here for a 15pro for example, you payed 70eur for 24 months. But thats with taxes/everything.Here in the UK 3-4 years is pretty normal. You can have a shorter, more expensive one but most people stretch it to save money. The phone cost is split into equal monthly interest free payments.
I just got a Pixel 9 Pro and it's pretty sweet. There are tiny things I really like that I can't get with apple...stuff that probably doesn't matter to most people. I also don't feel like I need to be on my phone all the time...it gets out of my way. This is my exact feeling. I've been toying the idea of switching over to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold or Z Fold 6 for a few months now, but waited for this event. Just a whole slew of boring, same-ol-design hardware updates and a bunch of "coming this [arbitrary season]" statements. Tired of the whole slow-burn hype cycle. I might as well trade in my iPhone 15 Pro Max now while it has some value and enjoy the other side for a while until Apple can get a little out of its comfort zone.
Aluminium vs Titanium. Big difference for me. The titanium on 15 pro is amazing.Thankfully, it seems, indeed, only screen and battery..
