Apple Announces 'iPhone XS' and 'iPhone XS Max' With Gold Color, Faster Face ID, and More

It was fun until they introduced the xr, then I said to myself, why do I need to pay $1000 for a phone when I can just get the xr for cheaper.

I think I’m settled on xr and hope for some promos from carriers coming up.

If there are deals for last years x I will jump in for that.

I'm also hoping this recycled tin they are using doesn't have the same effect as lead free solder in the past.
 
I hope that there is a correction in the marketplace soon and these out of control prices are brought back down to earth. They are to the point where they're stuffing crap in to justify a high price.

I'm lucky to live in Europe . So this January its good bye Apple Iphone hello Sony compact again.
I'm a SE user and very sad to see no SE replacement . i like the small form factor but , well I'm not going to pay 1200 euro for a Iphone XS i have 4 kids and a wife that knows everyting so i dont need siri on a super chip , 3D crap and force feedback. For email , whatsapp, the weather , reddit and make a phone call now and then.
I will be happy to spend less then 1/2 of it on a nice small Sony compact ( a compact flagship phone that does NOT break the bank and be happy with a old friend google again.)

Not for me. Too much money and you don't even get an upgraded charger. Same old lightening to USB-A and the lame underpowered wall plug. Ridiculous.
 
I think Apple messed up with the names big time they shoulda just had the x exclusive for the 10 anniversary and name the new phones 9 or 11
 
Holy c***balls, the maxed out Xs Max 512GB will cost ya a cool $1,450. They spared us the shellshock of that price tag in the presentation...

What in the actual f***. That's priced into the range of a full fledged, powerful laptop.

iPhone
iPhone X Pro
iPhone X Pro Plus

They look good tho. Love the faster bionic 12 & new camera & battery improvements.
 
As usual Apple continues to crush/destroy/annihilate the competition on the chip side. The iPhones are just ridiculously faster year and year out.

Can someone answer if any of the new releases are truly dual sim? i.e. 2 active sims at any one point in time?

What a boring keynote! The watch is the only highlight! When Phil said the battery is 30 mins longer, I started laughing! Seriously?! Now we’re in the minute department haha
What’s next? The battery lasts 5 more mins compared to the last year model. Probably the most sterile keynote in years! I can’t believe they didn’t drop the XS to $899! The X was already overpriced last year, now the XS is even more overpriced! The upgrades are so incremental.

This is me. I watched everyone else and experienced the X via friends/family. It's a great phone but I wanted to see how AAPL played their cards. That battery life is incredible to me.
