Apparently it might, per Rene Ritchie.

No night mode though.

But per Jon Prosser it's the XR camera and his Supply chain info has been on point. He broke this release date and price / specs story so I lean towards believing him

It does look to be same as XR camera on comparison page, minus 3 portrait mode options

Pretty sure it's the XR sensor, not the one from the 11. SE doesn't have "100% Focus Pixels" that the 11 has, and no Night Mode. The 3 additional portrait mode options and Smart HDR it has (over the XR) are enabled by the hardware in the A13.

Incorrect. The virus survives up to 5 days depending on the surface. Longer in cooler conditions. Science.

The virus can survive up to 9 days on some surfaces. Thus why I suggested two weeks in my post. If you want to be insane.

But that's going with the assumption someone was infected and coughed or sneezed on the package, then you touched it, then you stuck your hands in your mouth. All in a span of time before the virus deactivated.

It's all possible, but unlikely.

it is nice to see it starts with 64 GB. Water resistance, wireless charging and barometer are also very welcome additions over current SE. I hope it has 2nd generation of Touch ID.

What I'm mostly interested in is:
- is it able to record usable videos under low light (because SE isn't)
- since there is no night mode - will at least NeuralCam be able to take usable pictures (also not on SE)

If both true, this will probably be my next phone, once battery on my SE deteriorates. Otherwise I will probably just replace battery and wait until 11 goes down on price.

Big screen, no headphone jack, pass. This isn't the SE.
I know, if you want basically an 8 but new, this is it.

How many of you would feel comfortable buying this or any new products coming out of China?

illl be waiting till the virus has officially gone or a vaccine is ready.
Spray your phone with disinfectant if you're really worried. It's waterproof now!

I assume the normal person can't tell the difference between this and the iPhone 8. Except that it's 50 bucks cheaper now. In normal use the chip makes no difference unless you're playing games or advanced apps.

I really don’t see why people expect a smaller phone ever being made again. You want small and you want all the new goodies. And long battery life like the ProMax. Not physically possible or financially possible.
Who said that? I just want it to be small, not fast. Who needs the power of a PC for basic tasks, a geek?

I bet my iPhone 6s performs just as well as this new SE, same screens size. I’m waiting for the 12.

I can confidently say it will produce better videos than the iPhone SE (original). The camera on that thing is terrible for a 2020 device.
