I’d like to see 24” iMac... Curious as to it’s capabilities and how it will stack up against the newest 27” iMac.

Apple dropped a little Easter egg. Inscribed on the back of the logo shows the date of the event. “11.10”

I've been holding off in order to buy a new arm Macbook Pro, glad it was November 10 rather than November 17

So, are we anticipating that this new MacBook / MacBook Air / MacBook Pro will be in line with the current prices of those machines or are we expecting a substantial price hike?

If anyone has a 2015 MBP 15" they want to offload and avoid ebay fees for a fair price please contact me. Looking for something temporary to hold me over until the new 16" models come out.

The world needs a Silicon Mac mini Pro.
Maybe the Mini will be a lot more powerful now. People will finally get their "Headless iMac"....
I was about to buy a refurb iMac today, but when I came to collect it they said they were very sorry "But the screen is broken and we can't sell it unfortunately" Maybe it turns out to be my lucky day after all.

Since the A14 gets about 1580 single core at 3.0 GHz, just some linear scaling to 3.5 GHz gets to around 1900. It is pretty likely that the first ASi SoCs are going to use A14 cores ramped up in clock speed and with more high performance cores. So the multi-core is really just dependent on the total number of high performance cores. The A14 has 2 performance cores and gets about 4000 it isn’t hard to extrapolate to 7500+ by doubling the number of cores. It’s likely to be more than 4 performance cores pushing the result even higher.

It would be interesting if Apple introduced a phone with Apple Silicon, including more RAM, that could function as a Mac. Connect it wirelessly to a monitor/TV (via a dongle as they generally don't have wireless connectivity), keyboard, and mouse/trackpad for a very flexible device.

The performance could be there of a reasonable computer for many. And as an extension of the idea, take away the screen and battery for a tiny Mac Nano.
They could do that today. With an iPhone 12 as it is, $100 extra for 24GB, large amount of storage, and MacOS installed. MacOS and iOS running at the same time.

ARM desktop space needs a kick in the butt but personally I need x64 compatibility so I'll wait for Ryzen 5000U mobile.

Bloomberg says we are getting a 16" Pro with the new Apple processor in it. That's a surprise, thought it'd be an intel refresh for that one.

This is about the performance I'm hoping for. Something comparable to the current 8 core 2.4ghz i9 MBP. This future proofs it for me, and I will feel less antsy about being an early adopter. I have a heavily modded 09 Mac Pro 12 core, single core performance is the only area I ever feel bottlenecked in with it, so if the new laptops live up to the hype... They don't have to beat the last iteration of 16" machines, just match them.

Apple and overseas suppliers are ramping up production of three new Mac laptops with Apple processors: new 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros and a new 13-inch MacBook Air, according to people familiar with the matter. Beyond the processor switch, the devices won’t have significant design changes.
