These are the best earphones for the gym, they stay secure no matter how much you jump or move. Definitely be picking up a pair now they have no wire at all.

Good lord Apple, $250?!? Get outta here!

Good for people whose ears dont fit the Airpods and still want a wireless solution, but if you arent looking for sound isolation with a snug in ear fit like that... you're SOL in Apple world

No it shouldn’t because the only things I charge that aren’t using a lightning connector is a MacBook Pro and Nintendo switch

Nah.. prefer Lightning.

Beats is a brand that is not ecosystem dependent. Using a proprietary charging method tied to a single ecosystem makes little sense. USB-C makes more sense as far as the broader market that buys Beats. Lightning only makes sense on Beats if the intent is to focus sales on iOS users. I personally think lightning was a part of a cost cutting component sharing strategy. Heck lightning barely still makes sense for Apple devices. Pretty sure its going to binned pretty soon in favor of USB-C.

I’ve been testing these for the past 5 weeks and sound quality and overall fit are horrendous. These PB Pro’s lack bass and also lack mids. But on the plus side I managed to get 115 feet away from my XS Max before the signal started getting choppy. Lastly, the battery is well...average and definitely not what’s being touted. I’m sending them back tomorrow. Thank God.

I don’t get why people like headphones without wires. I love the fact that I can take off my headphones and just have them hang around my neck.
For me the wires get caught on EVERYTHING. My shirt collar, my jacket, arms of chairs at work, etc. The cords also often roll up, get all tangled, pain in the butt to deal with. Wireless removes all of that frustration for me, much happiness!

I bought my AirPods last year and I will never go wired again.

“After much effort, we've concluded Powerbeats Pro will not achieve our high standards and we have cancelled the project.”

Everything is coming soon, like the Mac Pro. We have very exciting products in the pipeline, always coming very very soon. Then it turns out to be TV subscription or ECG.

The Apple buds simply do not stay in my ear. I could buy an additional custom ear form and I am over the price of these beats. I like the look and the ear hook. I know these will stay in and sound great. If you can answer calls like Airpods it’s a done deal.

I see it does answer calls. I’m in. Now to pick my color.

I personally don’t like an in-ear design, so I’ll be sticking with the Airpods 2 I got last week. However, these seem to address all the features so many were complaining the Airpods 2 failed to deliver, what with color options, sound isolation, and sweat resistance. So except for the $250 price tag, the Powerbeats Pro seems like a perfect alternative to the Airpods 2.

Yeah I thought it was just me but a lot of people say that. I picked up a pair of wired earbuds at Target for $5 that sound better than the wired lightning Beats earbuds I got for Christmas.

Again, please show me which $5 Target earbuds that sounds better than Beats. It may not be the best sounding headphones but it does sounds pretty good. Most everyone that kept dissing the Beats probably never even own one and just following all the herds online that said so.

Remember when the updated version was the same price as the previous model? Good times

The “Pro” moniker seems to be saying it’s a different product line. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a upgraded Powerbeats 4 with a wire at the same $199 price

Slightly too expensive. I'll order AirPods 2 now I've seen these.
I am on the fence.

I own the first gen AirPods and the Powerbeats 3. The AirPods stay in my ears when I am not moving a lot. I wanted to use them mostly for conference calls and at work and have two pairs of Powerbeats 3 for the gym.

Only negative is the AirPods die during long calls which I have many during a day. I was debating AirPods 2 or these.

I also have a blue parrot bt-350 which lasts for weeks but I am not in love with the sound.
Hopefully the sweat and water resistance has improved over the PowerBeats 3 and just built better. They consistently failed on me requiring multiple replacement units.

I had that issue. I rotate between to pairs of beats(got them on sale for 99) and leave them out so the moisture leaves them. Seems to work as I had a few pairs litterly crumble on me.

NO thanks! Read reviews on any site you want to: Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Powerbeats are horrible and need to be replaced on a frequent basis. I’ll hold off and let the beta testers have at it.

How were you able to try a product that no one can buy until May?

Yikes..... $250 is steep.

9 hours of listening isn’t specified if that’s with case recharge or 9 hours of listening “per charge” for each ear piece. AirPods 2.0 get about 4-5 hours and my AirPods 1.0 get (now) about 1.5-3.0 hours of listening per charge.

So, if Apple are advertising 9 full hours of use “per charge,” and they have improved sound performance over the AirPods, it might be worth a look relative to the $250 tag, but there are a lot of options other once u get over $250.

AirPods at $175 (est.) is a tough sell; these at $250 might be impossible. But what do I know about sales and purchasing lol.
Website says 9h/bud and 24h combined playback
