Under Advanced in the Preferences click the Show Develop Menu check box. Then under the Develop menu click Enable Extensions.
Ahhh, thanks. :)
Oh, and once you enabled that, you can uncheck the Develop menu and the Extensions pane sticks. Wonder why Apple didn't enable that by default.

YouTube isn't working for me anymore since the latest update. Is there anyone who has the same problem?

Nice update - having used it for 5 minutes.

* Glad extensions aren't wall gardened - no need really - to do so is paranoia
* Great to see progress bar back
* Like the reader
* Scrolling seems faster
* I liked the address bar in Firefox, glad Apple copied this feature

Anyone else know how to enable Snapback? It's not there for me, and it's disabled in the History menu :confused:

SnapBack is only enabled for search results when using the search bar. It cannot be used for standard browsing SnapBack. For example if you search for Safari 5 in the search bar and then click on a link in the resulting search results page you can click on the SnapBack button in the search box to return to the search results page.

Seems a little snappier to me. I like the reader and extension support. Also the Bing search addition is nice for those who like Bing.

its much faster, also check out mobile me.... or me.com rather, seems MUCH faster to me

Hmm. Mine definitely seems slower. In fact at this point the performance is making me wonder why I upgraded and how I get back to the old version.

Snapback doesn't appear for me when I use the Searchbar :confused:

or example: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/08/us/08spill.html?ref=global-home has a page 2 link, if you click "Reader" while on page 1 it will load both pages in the "Reader" view.
Woah. I was kind of unsure what the "Reader" feature actually did or how to activate it, but that's awesome. I can definitely see using this a lot.

Has anyone seen the extension gallery mentioned here: http://www.apple.com/safari/whats-new.html#developer_program?
Says right there, "When you’re ready to share your Safari Extensions, you can submit them to the Safari Extensions Gallery, which will open later this summer."

Thank godness the blue bar is back ... MAN I MISSED THAT THING!:)
YES! Biggest... er well, only... thing I missed from Safari 3. :D

LOL. Ever heard of caching. The first time you go to a page it's slower because it caches all the graphics etc. :rolleyes:
