Has apple fixed any of the real issues with Safari, such as the fact that it crashes too often and when it does everything, all the pages and tabs, go down in a spectacular display of bad browser design?
Is it faster at all? More importantly, for heavy web users like me who tend to open many pages with many tabs and keeping them open for days does Safari become sluggish and eat up all of the systems memory and swap space, even after I have closed many of the open pages? I hate to be forced to close safari completely and open it again, sometimes loosing what was in many of the pages I was looking at because Safari doesn't remember all of them for some reason.
Sometimes I even have to reboot the whole system because Safari has made it so sluggish, that is just so windowsish...
Better use of system memory, some proper garbage collection and one thread for each pane, so as to one crashing browser window does not crash whole of safari, is what Apple should be concentrating on.
