Delusion knows no bounds, I see.

How is it delusion? There have been multiple comments on different sites, even if Apple has only been contacted by nine people, that doesn't mean that they are the only ones impacted, or the only ones who WILL be impacted.

It shouldn't happen, period. And I say this as someone who has a 6 and has no issues.

And I doubt you know what you are talking about. :)

They said that only nine people have 'complained'. That doesn't mean that only nine people have been affected or will be. I've seen more than nine people reporting it between here and Reddit alone.

I'm blaming this one squarely on MacRumors forum members. Thanks for giving Apple's competition ammunition. Honestly if Samsung wanted to nail Apple, all they would have to do is plant a bunch of users on this site, have them collectively make a big deal about a tiny issue, and then MacRumors will write about it. Being the biggest Apple website online, MacRumors content spreads far and wide. The reason these stories get so much traction is because Apple does so well, any time they have a hiccup everyone jumps all over them. Unfortunately the debacle yesterday with 8.0.1 is all their fault, but still.

No ****, Apple gets the most heavy over scrutinized crazy ridiculous overblown attention hahah its crazy. These phones are virtually unbendable unless you apply drastic extreme prolonged extended time pressure on these devices

The new iPhones are fantastic and I love my 6 , it completly utterly blows away my old GS4 that was tweaked , and also had Google Now Launcher

Im interested about this strongest glass stuff they tout.

Glassgate for Android devices! Lol

The new iphones faired better then the Android competition in SquareTrades testing of durability and etc

So much people fail to realize, even if it was in the few hundred devices count (which would obviously be worse lol) that , Apple sold 10 million new iPhone 6/6 Plus models in a WEEKEND!

Manufacturers like HTC , LG , Sony, etc take way longer to get to these types of figures, Apple sells more iPhones in a weekend then HTC sold M8's at launch in a month/2 months span

No actually now people will have it in their mind to bend their phones whenever they get a scratch on it and want it to be replaced.

Wow what an anti-climactic end to such high drama. Wah wah wahh wahhhhhh

There will be a lot more than 9 now that it has gotten publicity. Chances are people will use "bending" as an excuse to replace a phone that was dropped or otherwise accidentally/deliberately damaged.

That said, it does seem to indicate this whole thing was blown out of proportion.

It always seems to be this way. A few complaints out of millions, a you tube video and the press goes bonkers. Sensible people take it all with a grain of salt.

Even though this thing BLEW UP on Twitter and Facebook, everyone was using the same few images. The people with ACTUAL bent iPhones under NORMAL USE (not bend-testing) are very very few. Get over with it people. The 6 Plus is fine for everyday use.

That stupid UnboxTherapy guy really is the one to blame for blowing up such a worthless cause, and he probably generated a whole lot of cash out of it. His video is currently at 23million, and on average, Google Ads gives $3/1000 views, meaning he probably profited almost $70,000 out of his video, and maybe more.

Basically you guys with bent phones purely user error. I told you no one puts their large phone in their pocket and then complains it gets damage. Ridiculous.

Apple is so right to respond this way because their product isn't at fault! Tons of people want some kind of freebie. Get lost!

No one? I suppose that either no one has an android phone or that no one with an android phone puts their 5.5" (and bigger) phones in there pocket.

Or, there's the remote possibility that you're wrong.

Apple isn't here. Take it to the Apple Store. If your phone is bent, they can fix or replace it there. The internet is for ranting, not for getting problems solved.

My phone isn't bent - I have a 6 - but I have seen more than nine complaints regarding this issue. I think Apple is trying to downplay the issue and from the reaction here, they're succeeding.

"Here and Reddit." There's your problem.

If you don't take it to Apple and let them look at it, your bent iPhone doesn't count at all. Reddit and MacRumors don't keep an official tally that anyone can trust.
