Apple Blocking Out Vacations for October 14th iPhone Launch?

now that I think about it, it may be possible iOS 5 be released before the release of the next iPhone.

Simply so they can work out the problems and issues with iOS5 before releasing the next iphone so they wont have a whole smack load of customer service calls and bad publicity.

No way. If they release IOS 5 before the new iPhone every blog site on the Internet will be looking for information about the new phone and would more than likely find it and post it.

Apple doesn't like that.

I had job offers at to premier unis in the US and one in Stockholm. I think the Swedes, in general, not just the women, tipped the balance toward working and living in Stockholm. Seeing the career and lifestyle progression of my ex-colleagues that stayed in the US reminds me that I made the right decision.

Ok.Ok. I get it. But still . Pretty women should never be the number one reason to move anywhere. IMHO ..

then again I'm old and have been through a few. So...

Second week of October sounds about right. Looking forward to Tim Cook's first quarterbacked keynotes. :D

I don't know about others, but for some reason women with moon-white hair, eyebrows and lashes could never turn me on. Sorry.

American women are juicier.

If the iPhone 5 has been announced at this point would it really matter?

depends on the mall. I know at the one by my place, they wouldn't let anyone camp overnight and ran off anyone before 6am that day. The line was outside until Apple hired security came and brought the first 50 or so folks to line up outside the store. When that group was down to the last 10-15, they brought in another group.

If only that were true, but alas Apple does no financing and that credit card is hard as heck to get

I as well cannot afford to replace my 2 1/2 year old 3GS but I really want to see the new 5. Something for me to dream about for next summer

That's why they announce the iPhone before iOS releases.

They could announce the deets on say the 4th and release iOS 5 and cloud on the 5th.

LOL thats what i thought, i waited 20 minutes in line on launch day of the 4 here and i was already getting impatient and many people left. i eventually got one that day but i guess we arent just the waiting or patient kind here :cool:

As for economy, you would think it is odd Apple is doing so well, I was at Disneyland during summer and I was shocked how ****ing packed it was for the price of the tickets. I do not get where people are getting their money and yet they say no jobs but they can still pay for their iPhone plans.

this is why america has no money, people rely on their credit cards they can never pay the bill for. whenever i stream US tv i'm always shocked how many "credit" or later payment advertisements there are. i would never buy anything i can't fully pay at once, i either wait til i can actually afford it or have to look for something cheaper

No, but a lot of members on tech forums, especially macrumors, have jobs in technology such as a developer, engineer, etc. and have a little excess money to spend
 
This information conflicts with another rumor that said Apple employees aren't allowed to eat or go to the bathroom on October 15th. I wonder which one is true? :confused:
