Worked through the link today, was disappointed did not get $40k limit to put upcoming new Mac Pro ($35k) on it. Got 30k limit and 12.99% app. TU FICO 8 score 833. Around 7 figure income.

If you are truly making six figures and are willing to accept 12.99 percent interest, there is something not quite right here.

This Apple card seems to be a status thing. The perks are not that good. but to each their own I guess. Price you pay for status. My FICO is 820. This card does not seem like a good deal to me.

I still am at a lost as to why someone would get this above a cash back card from capital one.
Because CapitalOne is a **** issuer that preys on people with low credit scores and doesn't provide a quality product/service like Chase/Amex? Goldman should be right up there with the best issuers as opposed to the bottom of the barrel like Synchrony and Citi

I put my email in last week at some point and still haven't gotten anything. I'm in no rush anyway. One thing I've noticed is they are using transunion. Transunion always gives the lowest score of the 3. I has been like that in my families case for countless yrs. I just check my credit report and the other 2 show no hard pulls for 4 yrs but transunion is still showing me having 3 but they are supposed to fall off after 2 yrs. So it's safe to say I'm pretty sure there are alot of people that's information is incorrect on their reports..

You should stay on top of them and make sure they are reporting correct information. They are legally required to provide a free report for you each year. You can challenge anything on the report, but should only challenge inaccuracies. And they must investigate. If after 30 days, they can't disprove your claim the item must be altered or removed entirely. No one will do this for you unless you pay them, and it's so easy to do that you shouldn't pay someone to do it for you.
[doublepost=1565676802][/doublepost]You can always go for this metal card. Sure, there's a $995 annual fee, but the interest is still 17.24%.

Anyone know what the colors are for different types of purchases?

This is very cool and I don't know if they'll ever launch here in India, but this would be the greatest "flex" here.

I hope this is the right thread for this, I registered just to post this. After reading some of this thread and being confused with some things online as to whether or not emails were being sent to confirm shipping of physical cards, I used the built in message support feature and this happened.

I know it’s not Apple but rather Goldman Sachs taking over the chat at that point. Even so, someone representing Goldman and Apple gave me the email address of a client. How does this happen if it’s supposed to be tied to iMessage?

Has anyone gotten denied, for having to much debt, that's the response I got for not being approved? Apple told me their's a yearly amount of income that they are looking for anyone know what that amount is?

My AC is arriving within the hour, but I am not sure that it is of any real value to me. I have a credit union visa that pays 2% back on all purchases, and a 1% bonus at the end of the year. Plus, it is good for extended warranty on all purchases, as well as rental car coverage, and it can do AP from my watch.

I was pretty shocked when I got mine yesterday at how thick the card really is, and how heavy it is. I really like it. I held my Amazon Prime metal card against the Apple Card last night and the difference in metal is quite obvious.

Mine should be on a truck right now heading to my neck of the woods. As with a few, pay off, 0% interest...good times. if you carry a balance because you needed 10 iMac pros fully loaded...the sooner you pay it off, the better.

Anyone that hasn't received the invite yet should avoid this thread.

I didn't receive an invite I just got it in my wallet app, but when I applied I was denied for my debt being to high. Anyone know why this would happen.

Credit score of 834 got in with a $10k limit and 12.99% but will probably be asking them to reduce the limit to $5k (or even less).

Classic CNBC hit piece.

The article talks so much about subprime lending, then concludes with the person getting a credit limit of $750. Like that's going to break the bank anytime soon.

What Apple is doing here is making the card as available to as many users as possible. Of course with differing credit histories, different applicants are going to get different rates and limits, but that's a risk Apple is willing to take, rather than simple restrict the Apple Card to its more affluent users.

I guess this is one of those rare times when I don't mind the thread veering off topic, because the original article itself is pure rubbish that it's not even worth addressing.

Ok agreed to a point... Apple IS making it available but the one who is taking all the risk is GS.. They are the one's running the credit check and issuing you the credit not apple..

Debit cards don’t net any rewards. Everyone should pay off their card on time. Key word: should. If you don’t, you fundamentally are misusing credit.

Just because you don't pay off off your balance every month doesn't mean your misusing credit. Everyone's finances are different. I'm sure there are plenty of consumers who make alot of money and still carry a balance on their cards... Doesn't mean they are misusing it, just means that's the way it works for their household.

stinks I added my email to the "Notify Me" back in March when it was announced and still not invite. Wife was only added 4 days ago and got her invite yesterday. But she was denied the card with steller credit. Love to see the reason when the denial letter comes in the mail.

But damnit why have I not gotten my invite :-(

Just got my card...thought I was opening a pill bottle for the first time...three layers of security including the activation...

Received the email yesterday, applied, and was approved for $4500 at 23.99% interest. My credit score is 688-707 depending on which bureau is checked.

Not planning on using this card sue to the high interest rate. Interesting how it was reported that many banks passed on this due to low profit. Really? At the interest rates I'm seeing, that is NOT the case.

I was approved last Wednesday and still have not received a shipping email. Is there anyone else who was approved Wednesday that is still waiting to get their physical card?
