Let’s have everyone define hate speech.

If you speak against a race that’s hate speech!
If you speak against a sex that’s hate speech!
If you sing a song about killing cops that’s hate speech!
If you speak against gay people that’s hate speech!
If you write an article about assassinating Trump that’s hate speech!
If you say there are radical Muslims out there that’s hate speech!
If you don’t agree borders should be open that’s hate speech!
If you say that men and women are different that is hate speech!
If you speak about not outlawing offensive speech that’s hate speech!
...And so and so on...
Nice tack to agenda there by not just saying president.

Whatever happened to diverse thinking or “think different”. Suppressing and controlling speech and thoughts are not proper solutions.

A truly unified society will never happen because we are all individuals. Apparently disagreements are no longer part of human interaction. Any type of disagreement can now be termed “Hate speech” in today’s world.

Then I guess you're caught in a pickle aren't you? You're clearly in the minority when it comes to this issue while simultaneously supporting a company that opposes your views.
It's not that they (collectively) oppose my views, it's really only TC and perhaps some of the other execs. Anyways, they don't oppose my views, they irrationally and illogically hold views that are politically biased. The way he sees the world is not the reality. Such as women in tech, TC said "they really missed the mark" referring to the Tech industry regarding gender balances. That's a naive stance to take and makes him look clueless on biology as well.

Hundreds of thousands of employees make the creation and distribution of Apple products possible. I know for a fact that they do not all hold the same beliefs as TC and to be honest I don't really care for individual people's views. I will respectfully disagree and still buy their products. The only reason I'm having a go at TC is because his speeches are full of ideological drivel which is incredibly biased and doesn't correspond with the actual reality.

If you say you like blonde hair and blue eyes, that's hate speech.
If you say all lives matter equally, that's hate speech.
If you say you believe in equal opportunity for everyone, that's hate speech.

Society is so messed up, nobody can open their mouth without offending somebody.
It’s quite simple, millions do it everyday for generations. So much typical drama in this thread.

What reality are you referring to? The reality that Apple and it's CEO has the freedom to oppose hate speech? Is that too far from reality for you?

Do you work for Apple? Do you decide what they can and can't support? Didn't think so. It's almost as if the republicans in this thread want the government to step in and prevent Apple and other companies from making their own choices on what they choose to support and oppose on the platforms they created. It's a weird day when republicans come off as wanting the big bad government to control our capitalistic society. SMH.

Hypocrites.

That’s exactly what is going on... they want to shape perception by censoring things th4y don’t agree with.

Mainstream media does it daily, fb and twitter do too... why wouldn’t Apple?
Good thing that the telecommunication companies don’t, because they cannot.

Tim’s morality follows the money.

Tim Cook is taking Apple down the tried and failed path of "Get Woke, Go Broke".

It will take Apple a while given the great position Tim Cook inherited, but I am confident that Tim will get there.

No, it’s that the left lost their minds over a baker and a wedding cake, but they have no problem censoring and suppressing the masses ...

Oh geez, these threads are always filled with misinformed people talking about free speech and censorship.

Apple isn’t the government, they can “censor” (quotes because it isn’t real censorship) anyone they please.

The first amendment doesn’t apply here.

Thank you. Every time this argument comes up everyone shouts about 1st amendment. Private businesses and individuals are not the government. You have the right to speak, but I or a private business can tell you to ****.

Pretty soon the reicht wing won't have anything left but Chik-fila, New Balance and country music. They already don't like or protest Nike and a host of other products and corps for their leftist views.

Ya I feel so oppressed by Apple now that I can no longer view child porn on the Tumblr app. Too bad I can longer make an app on their platform that promotes white supremacy. Clearly the majority of their consumers support it.
