Apple.com 6/17 Online Reserve

These links, I imagine, were accessed on Sept 9th when pre-orders began. This is when the option to actually reserve and pick up were available. Since then, reserve and pick-up has been closed. Which means the link was removed.

It's just floating around because someone copied it. Since the reserve and pick-up system isn't available, the link isn't accessible.

Exactly. Apple is not creating the confusion or stopping anyone from buying the phone.

OLD IUP members HAVE to go to the store so store stock is being held for 1 week for them. They had NO WAY TO GET THE PHONES VIA PRE-ORDERS!! Reservations only.

NEW IUP members will have phones shipped like everyone else.

ALL others can order the phone RIGHT NOW for delivery... However long that takes.

NOW people are complaining because they can't slide into an Apple store and get a phone. Guess what!! IUP members need a phone also. They were tossed a side and NOT permitted to get in the long shipping line for a phone. Now the people who CAN have a phone shipped are complaining?

Lets calm down folks.

Seems like there's no stock of the 7+ nationwide. Definitely very poor stuff from apple. Same old story every year

Thats what i disccussed above, Apple is probably making it up to IUP users by giving them direct access to the Plus Model stock and lets them order before anyone else,

We're still not sure what time, if at all. the reserve page will be open to the rest of the public and if there will be any plus model to pick from,

This appears to be a waste of time at the moment and not really worth wasting any more time on this, especially at 1:30am.

I managed to snag a Gold 7 Plus for pick up at 9am, wouldn't be my first choice in colour but think I'm going to take it! Anyone else manage to reserve?

But I just think we should all have equal access to get the phone how we want. I, for example, am unable to buy online because I am not with one of the big carriers. My only option is to pay in full at a store. I'm completely fine with them setting aside SOME of the store stock for iUP people, as I know they were unable to preorder with everyone else. But I also think that they should keep another portion of the store stock available for non iUP people to walkin or reserve. There just doesn't seem to be equal opportunity happening here, and that's what's frustrating.

Did you have to sign up for iUP?
