- I was following this thread last night and there seemed to be a lot of confusion for those of us not enrolled in the IUP. Just throwing this out there to hopefully clear up some stuff. This was my chat with an Apple rep earlier:
- Hi, I'm trying to find out when the Reserve and Pick Up page will be back up for the Iphone 7. I'm looking for a Plus version but the page has said orders aren't being taken and to come back at 12:01 am since yesterday. Any idea which tomorrow the message is referring to? I am not part of the Upgrade Program.

We know that the reservation page did open up but filled up fast. It looks like it will open again this evening.
It seemed that it opened up for the ones who were already enrolled in the Upgrade Program. I checked at 12:01 local (est), 12:01 pst and 08:01 am local as well. It seems there is a different page for those of us not currently in the Upgrade Program. Or am I mistaken?
They use the same page. I checked for myself up until 1AM and it had not opened so I am not sure when it happened exactly but we were told it opened and closed quickly.
Hmm, ok. So I'm assuming that you won't know when in the morning it will open tomorrow then?
I wish I did so I could check as well! We were told it would open again at 12:01AM and it should be local time.
Alright, last question. Are the customers currently enrolled in the Upgrade Program able to see the Plus stock before everyone else? It seemed to me those on that program could reserve 7's at about 12:02am. If its the same page I'm not sure I understand why none of us could see the stock. I did see on one page all the states come back with inventory for the 7 but not a single 7 Plus. However those on the Upgrade Program were reporting they could see them in every state and reserve.
Sure, I understand. iUP customers and regular orders all show in the same page. They do not use a different page. The iPhone 7 Plus is so popular it is sold in most areas that I know of.
Is there any way you can provide me with a link to the page you're referring to? I have links to 2. One seems to always state Apple isn't taking reservations. The other always shows the current inventory.
Do you mind sharing with me the current inventory page? Is that just where you select the iPhone with the carrier, color, and storage size?

She also stated the time was in fact local time. But that it didn't actually open up at 12:01 am this morning. For whatever thats worth.
FYI That is not true about non IUP and IUP seeing the same stock. I looked in CO and no Pluses... I used my Dad's SN and IMEI to help him and he was able to make a Reservation for a Plus. I don't know what they are not giving the right info, but it is NOT true that everyone is seeing the same stock.
I agree, I was on at 12:01 this morning watching people post that they got theirs through IUP link. I don't really blame them for taking care of them first. Apple screwed up and it's their best choice to remedy it. I'll be checking both links again tonight.
FYI, checking both is a waste of time. Previous upgrade participants can see stock others cannot. Its fine by me, but if you do not go through the steps of upgrading a previous plan you will not be able to see stock on Plus, regular phones, no issues.
I can definitely vouche for using the IUP link to reserve and change to a carrier plan in store. Personally switched to the AT&T Next program with no issues.

That's what I've been saying. I was hoping that someone would help me figure out what's special about the URL for the reservation page that shows the Pluses, but I suppose you can no longer help if your dad already upgraded.

Nobody has posted the correct link yet. I believe the full link includes some personal info, such as the IMEI or serial number of the existing device, so I've been hoping that someone will post the link anyway and just X out that information. My theory is that there just has to be a small variable in the URL that has to be added. I just need an example link to test my theory.
So technically speaking are we supposed to expect to be able to reserve a Plus model tonight at 12:01am or is this just a game Apple is playing with us and we probably won't see that reserve page open again like last night? Besides we still don't know if the 12:01 time Apple says on the page means eastern, pacific etc
I really, really wish I did not want a plus model... its 1 pm now and still just an insane amount of 7s left around me. Like it would not even be a problem.

12:01am refers to local time. When I was looking at the generic IUP URL last night at 2:30am EDT, all of the west coast states were not selectable yet, because it was only 11:30pm there.
Nobody can predict what will happen tonight. Presumably, if everything stays the same as it was last night, you will still only be able to reserve a Plus model if you go through the Apple Store app or website first and validate your IMEI and serial number to show that you qualify for an upgrade. If Apple finally makes the standard reservation page available, everyone might finally be able to look for a Plus.
According to the rep it should be open at 12:01 am local time. Which i believe is correct because the iUP page updated at 12:02ish this morning. Even though we could only see 7's it did update the inventory, i'm guessing they just blocked the Pluses because they are saving it for iUP. How long that continues is anyones guess. But she did admit the regular Reserve and Pick Up page wasn't open by 1am this morning so I'm not sure how much stock I'd put in that for those of us not enrolled in iUP already.
As far as I'm concerned the page never because active last night, not at 12:01am, not even at 3:01am.
I want to reserve and buy a 128gb matte black t-mobile iPhone 7 plus and pay outright full price, which link should I check at 12:01? I know that there is one link specially for IUP users which actually was working last night but obviously was only for IUP users and didn't show any Plus Models available anyways and then there was the other URL that we all used last night

Nope, she told me to use the one that was down all night. The same one we watched last night. She said they were told it came up very shortly then went back down but she watched it till 1 am and never saw it. I did the same. Couldn't tell me when it came up only that they told them 12:01 local time both last night and tonight. I plan to check both just in case. I doubt the reps know a whole lot more than we do to be honest.
Page did go live last night. I reserved one 7 128gb Matte Black verizon. Going to pick it up in 30-45min.
Are you part of iUP or did you just reserve? If you aren't iUP around what time did you place the order?

I'm in the same boat as you. Never became active. Clicked right at 12:01, reloaded at 12:02 - then periodically for a while until I gave up and went to bed. Didn't work this morning either.
People already signed up are getting a better selection? That means everyone in the UK waiting to join IUP is missing out, or nobody is missing out seeing as nobody is signed up for it here? Gonna be checking every morning at 6AM. I'm really hoping there's more 7 Plus stock around tomorrow as I really want my config soon!
