Apple.com 6/17 Online Reserve

I ordered 2 phones this morning, a 7+ 256 black, and a 7+ 128, rose gold, from 2 different Apple Stores. When I went to the 2nd store, I decided I wanted the 256 instead of 128. I asked the Apple employee to check if they have a 2nd 256 (1st was DH's). As he was checking, I checked on my phone. By the time he said no, I already said it showed that store had a 256 Verizon. He had me place a reservation on my phone and I was able to walk out with it within minutes.

Thanks to this thread I was able to reserve and get the iphone 7 plus black today even though I messed up the reservation.

I had to drive 1.5 hours one way to get it but is worth it! I accidnetly selected tmobile phone in the reservation and I have at&t. Of course by the time I got there and waited over 30 minutes in line they didn't have any more att phones. I was not leaving that place without the phone! Only way to get it was to buy it outright which was not my plan.. I wanted to use iphone upgrade program but they would only let me buy it outright with unlocked version. So she tells me I can check stock and make another reservation and then return the phone and get the at&t version and sign up for the upgrade program then. I'm hoping that is true because I didn't plan to spend $1,000+ on the phone today and rather use the upgrade program.

Just wanted to say thanks to all those who helped provide links and information. Best Buy really made this launch a nightmare so I am super happy to finally get my AT&T Matte Black 256 iPhone 7 Plus. Reserved this morning @ 8:48AM. Got to store 15 minutes after my reservation but only waited about 5 minutes. The store employee went over all the options to purchase (IUP, Next or Outright) so obviously gave me no troubles for choosing Next. I was out of there in maybe 20 minutes total.
Would also like to note I couldn't be more pleased I didn't fall in love with the Jet Black. Seeing it in person - or what remained of it underneath the layers of fingerprints - was underwhelming. Matte Black is the ****.

Question for you guys, I ordered through verizon and they didn't come through, so I reserved a phone at Apple for pickup tomorrow. The problem is, I still owe verizon my 50% payoff for my current device. Is this something I can do at apple?

They couldn't solve that problem for my att account today so i just bought the phone outright
i would run by verizon and pay it off before going in

I was going to say the same thing. I still owed ATT $250 on my next program to be eligible for an upgrade so I called ATT on the way to apple and paid it off over the phone. By the time I got to apple it already took effect and I was upgrading eligible.

Same scenario for me today. When they ran the Verizon check it said I owed an additional 71 bucks to pay off 50% of the 6s, which was required. They took the payment right then and there and then we proceeded with activating the new phone and setting up the new agreement.

Well i did the same thing of driving to the neareseeeeet apple store which is more than 1.5hrs and got my reserved Verizon iP7+ matte black 128GB.
