I have a reservation number, going to pick it up, I know they have the phones in stock so I won't take no for an answer.
I suspect the will be a time soon though that this cheat gets back to Cupertino and they put an end to it. Good luck.
I have tried 12:01-12:30 on my local time (EST) AND at 8AM as instructed by my Apple Store. I've been doing that since Saturday. So no, my luck won't be better as I've already been doing this.
I looked at 12:01AM, 12:05AM, 12:15AM, nothing. Then when I woke up about 6AM, there was a single 7+ 128GB MB. Clicked next and got an error. Tried again and got 'Check back after 8:00AM'. Right now (7:44AM) it says 'Check back tomorrow after 12:01AM'. Ha!
My scheduled date is 11/23, so I guess I'll end up just waiting it out unless I get lucky; or the Pixel XL will turn out to be more awesome than I imagine; or I will just get bored waiting two months as the hype wears off and decide to stay with my current phone another year.
I found another 256gb black 7+ in Toledo - about 2 hours from me. Let's hope Apple doesn't autocancel it this time because I will be furious if I drive all that way and it's gone.

I think it is wise to call ahead. The cancellation may have to do with the inventory system does not correspond to the actual number of phones being delivered to the store today. Just like the lost iphones by the UPS delivery, Apple can lose some phones during transit as well..

There's a few random updates here and there, but nothing wide scale. My local store just got a 32 GB silver plus in that wasnt listed a little bit ago. There wasn't too big of an update this morning either.
I am getting random updates and changes to "No Stock" to jumping back in the available stock list near the top under the state.
My assumption is that they didn't show up for their reservation or they didn't take the phone when they came in for the previous person that reserved it.
I hate to sound like a broken record, is there a way to search within a topic?
I want to know if I bought the Verizon outright I can use on ATT or Sprint outright, same question?

Yes. You should be able to do that. Verizon/Sprint iphones will work on ATT bands.

I'm kicking myself for not getting one when the local apples stores by me had tons of matte blacks. Now everytime I look online, they have zero pluses. I'm not gonna wake up at midnight to look either.

EVERY time I read posts like these I get ticked. I can't find a matte black ANYWHERE close to me. I would gladly switch to either the 128 or 256 matte black if I could find one!
