None for Tmobile...anywhere.

You're right, can't find any, must have missed it.

Yesterday night it was all Verizon and Sprint, nothing much for ATT, tonight it seemed ATT pluses were everywhere, so maybe tomorrow night they'll get a shipment of t mobil phones?

Best way would be to hurry and reserve it using the IUP link at your local Apple Store. Pay it in full so it will be unlocked.
Theoretically you are mostly right.

But I cannot understand how that would work. The reservation website is for IUP, so the device that you are seeing available for reservation has to be a locked IUP phone. When you go to the store they bring out the device you have reserved through IUP but you ask them to pay in full upfront, how does that same phone suddenly become unlocked!

I think all IUP phones are also unlocked. That has to be the case, other wise it wouldn't work.

Everything you are speculating is otherwise well known and is clearly stated on apple's website.

All IUP phones are always unlocked.

You can reserve phone and buy it full price , it has been by me and hundreds of other people here. I was one of the first people to report it.

My understanding is all phones that are sent to Apple retail stores are unlocked. They become locked during the activation process. Thus, if you buy a phone at Apple and leave the store without activating it, it's unlocked.

If you buy from carrier, or order online using carrier upgrade plans / financing, then those are locked in-box.

Every single iPhone is unlocked from the factory. Once the imei is entered to a carrier's system and added to a plan with a subsidy or payment plan, it locks itself. If it's paid for in full, the phone company doesn't own any part of the phone and therefore doesn't lock it.

Also the iup phones are no different than the rest of the stock.

What if I picked up my 7 plus today & just stuck my sim in. Which is what I plan to do, I did enter my ATT account to secure & go through the IUP program. But I just used the primary number on our account which is my fiancés to go through the verification, didn't think it mattered. What if I just pop my sim in & don't change the imei number? I could always go into att and just say I want to use this phone on my number etc.

We have 4 lines on our account my fiancé the primary and I'm a authorized user. I figured ATT would see it as a un locked phone I put onto one of our lines. Should be no biggie.

We had one T-Mobile plus in the state here and it was rose gold so ... Maybe tomorrow will be the day.

I'm not really following you, but I'm sure they can change which phone is upgraded when you get to the store.

no 8am restock for east coast.

Yeah unfortunately. I managed to snag a black 7 from Christiana at midnight but am still trying for a rose gold.

Can someone confirm that when you pay in full a IUP reservation you can just walk out the door without any sort of activation? I reserved a Verizon 7+ to use on AT&T? I assume no issues with a full payment purchase or use with AT&T and just need to pop in your SIM??

There was a AT&T 7+ Matte Black 128GB showing at one of my local stores last night. It said I couldn't order without cancelling my current IUP online preorder. I waited on the phone for 30 minutes to get it cancelled. It was still there after that and when I got to the final part of checkout it said it was no longer available. :(

I made a IUP reservation for a Verizon 7+ and paid in full. Using it with T-Mobile. Walked out with the phone without any activation. Just make sure to NOT turn on the phone with the Verizon SIM card. Swap the card with your att SIM card before turning it on.

That sucks, sorry. That is what I am afraid of. You could not just cancel it online?

Did you use the IUP reserve link or the regular purchase and pick up in store link?

Question...and sorry if it has been addressed already as I couldn't find the answer. I currently have a pre order with apple for an at&t 7+. If I reserve for in store pick up and they cancel my Apple order, how soon will my at&t upgrade be available again?

I actually was able to reserve a black 128 plus last night at one of my local apple stores. Unfortunately, it is the furthest away of the three, but it's still in city limits.
Going to call to verify itll be there. I'm nervous to drive over an hour near rush hour for no reason at all lol.

I'm in the same boat as you, got about a 2 hour drive. I guess from what I read, the best we can do is just call ahead and confirm they have it on reserve for you to pick up.

It said it couldn't be cancelled online and to call. I used the regular. IUP upgrade was showing no appointments except for Cali and Hawaii at the time.

All is well in the world again as the exact same spec phone just popped up at a more convenient Apple Store and I managed to get it ordered to pickup tonight.

I cancelled via the Apple.com orders dashboard and in about 5 minutes my AT&T upgrade was available again. Of course YMMV, I've heard it can take up to 24hrs.

I was able to get through. Really nice guy on the phone. Checked with their back of house and confirmed the phone is there for me. So now I'll be returning my 7 and then getting the plus.

A store 75 miles away from me had the phone I wanted but I decided not to make the drive and just wait it out.
