Currently have an individual line plan, grandfathered unlimited and it let me order another individual plan unlimited data, discounted price and new 2 year contract. I couldn't believe it. But I'll have to cancel as stated above. I'll post a screen shot of the order confirmation,
What browser were you using? What did the screen show you? Were you offered the More Everything plans and did you click something to show you the individual plans?

using chrome. It offered both the individual plan and the more everything. I clicked the individual and didn't click on anything for more everything and it took me all the way through the checkout process. I couldn't believe it. It really sucks that I have to cancel, There is just no way I can drive to wisco during the week and it would cost way more in gas than the discount on the phone would be lol.

Can't you change your shipping address with apple by calling them?
 
I can't believe it, it let me do it again! So I canceled my other order, changed my billing address on verizonwireless, and reordered and it let me do the same thing. Screen shots attached. Wow. so I'm going to get an iphone at discount price and let a family member take over my new unlimited data line. Pretty freakin sweet!

Well I can confirm the second add a line activated no problem and has UDP so 2 UDP lines added to my family plan through apple.com. Both times I ordered online to pick up in store. Both times in store said I did not need help. Both times left store with phone in unopened Box. Switched sim from month to month UDP line to new i6 then i6 sim to i5. So now I have 4 UDP lines, anybody want one? Haha

so will the problem be with activation? I'm having the phone shipped so can I just throw my old sim in the new iphone and the new sim in the android phone and activate with the old phone and I'll have UDP's on both my individual lines? (I don't have a family plan just an individual line with UDP)

Thanks so much! So the individual line option just shows up at the top of the screen and you didn't have to click anything to get it to show up?

iMyers had a family plan so we will have to see what happens with 2 individual lines, but try it. You have 14 days to return the phone and if you return it within 3 days, you pay no activation fee.

Then if you get it activated, you merge the individual line into your other individual line to form a family plan with shared minutes. It's cheaper that way.

Or if you are going to sell the line, leave it as an individual plan.

Second part I have no idea and reccomend you just call apple. First part yes they scan the box, then you electronically sign saying you received your phone, then leave. I guess you could even do it in the store if you wanted because they leave you and go to the next customer.

That's where they had issues with when I did store pick up. I'm doing ship to home this time but I may try pick up soon after.

I would have to check apple.com T&C but I would be shocked if you could not.


I think Apple.com says you can't but I didn't know if they can make exception especially during launch timeframe.

No you can't. Online orders must get shipped back.

Yes I've done it like a millions times. Tonight I actually returned both a phone I purchased online shipped to my home and another phone ordered online and picked up from the store.

If you ask for help, you go to genius bar, they take phone out help you set it up etc. Otherwise both times I said I did not need help setting phone up. Asked for ID to verify with CC used to purchase, signed for phone, then handed over phone new in sealed box. Then I left, it really wasn't that difficult. Didn't even have to play any games, just said I didn't need any help.

I guess the crazy part is I don't even like apple products. I did this for my wife, then the second one so I can sell it and get a g3. Haha!

Cool. But what I'm getting at was that when I went the issue was during the time they scanned my barcode then asked for my license and then they press next to process etc on the handheld device and that's where the issues were. After time spent on phone with tech support they got it to push to Verizon's system but still didn't work and said 'activation halt' so I'm trying to find out when activation occurs for in store pick up.
