I flip iPhones with all of my upgrades. I sell on swappa, it's pretty easy to do.I guess the crazy part is I don't even like apple products. I did this for my wife, then the second one so I can sell it and get a g3. Haha!

Cool. But what I'm getting at was that when I went the issue was during the time they scanned my barcode then asked for my license and then they press next to process etc on the handheld device and that's where the issues were. After time spent on phone with tech support they got it to push to Verizon's system but still didn't work and said 'activation halt' so I'm trying to find out when activation occurs for in store pick up.

That I couldn't tell for sure, what I can tell you is that when I turned on the i5 both times with the new sim it said that it was waiting for activation. Also I got the phones at 2 different stores in 2 different states so I don't think its special to any store.
If you are serious, I will take one
Hi. I'm a longtime lurker but new poster to the thread.
So basically, I have a NATIONWIDE TLK&TXT SHARE 1400 plan with 4 out of the 5 allowed lines on it.
One of those lines has the grandfathered month-to-month UDP. Therefore, when I went to order my iPhone through Apple, I was able to choose the option for adding a new line on my plan with unlimited data for just $29.99 month.
I'm super confused about what I should do when my phone arrives.
From what I understand, the iMeyers method seems to tell me to take out the sim card from the phone with UDP currently on my account and swap it with the new sim that will arrive with my iphone6. But what exactly does that do for my new iphone and what will happen once I put the new sim card into the older UDP line? I wouldn't want any swapping of numbers or anything...i just want to make sure I understand exactly what will happen...
Then...after the swapping of sim cards and activating the new iphone with the old UDP's sim card, do I switch the sim cards back?
Lastly, is it weird that although I have a serial number, new phone number and receipt from Apple saying my iphone has shipped, Is till see no trace of this purchase on my verizon wireless account.
You can activate the sim that comes with it I've done it 4 times in the last few days
From what I was told by Verizon, I am approved for 10 lines, but my family plan can only have 5 lines. So any other lines have to be in a subaccount. But I don't think they can create the subaccount without a line to put in it.Do you know if I was also to call and make a subaccount on one of my family plans would that free up the family plan to than add a other line to it or is the line moved to the sub account still counted towards that ? Thanks
You've done the add a line UDP 4 times and never had to swap sims ??

I think what you have to do if you have 5 lines already on your family plan is split off one of your family plan lines as an individual line to a subaccount (suspend it without billing if you don't want to pay for the individual plan while you do this). Then that frees up the family plan to accept another line.
I know I'm an idiot, but can you explain what you mean please? You're saying I can activate the iPhone 6 with the sim card that comes with it and actually get the treasured UDP?? I thought that was the whole concern and that verizon doesn't seem to be allowing this "glitch"?
Correct you can use the supplied sim
I don't think anyone will know until you try it. I think you will have a greater chance of doing what you want to do if you split a UDP line off of your family plan to a subaccount.can I order phones/lines directly to the subaccount by using that lines newly created registered login or will it go to the main account still? Thanks again!
Can you please provide more detail? What did the Apple employee or you do to get it to activate?Correct you can use the supplied sim

Any thoughts on why it didn't work for Cnote?
Bought in store took it home opened it and turned it on and the sim self activated and I had unlimited data
It shows up when the Apple Store employee scans it to activate it to your account
I believe from what I have been told you have to use the main account, but call Verizon to check. No I understand about creating a sub account with one line. And I was just inquiring about how main accounts and sub accounts work in general. Is someone able to order any phone/line directly using the sub accounts login and it go straight to the sub account and not the main account.
