Np.. It's weird that some ppl had no issues using the sim that came with it, while others do. I'm not sure what to do as I have one coming next week. Have you tried activating the phone again just to see what happens? Also, would it be easier to just return the phone and order a new one for in store pick up?

The stores in my area never seem to have any for in store pickup. Do you know what time Apple's website updates for availability for the in store pickup option?

And I'm not sure how I can activate again since I already have the line active with the tiered data plan on my plan. But yes, I'm trying to figure out the return process so I can cancel this new tiered line and then activate a new one with a "proper" method.

Sounds like swapping the SIM is safest, even though some are reporting that activating with new SIM worked for them.
 
That's what I just did. I canceled my ship to home and going to place another for store pick up and hope I have success this time. I'm just tired of the wait and need to see if it will work ASAP. I will make sure to not let them activate in store. I will be trying a different Apple store also and hope I have scan activation success

Good luck I would try the same thing if we had an apple store closer than 300 miles away:mad:

Smart decision, definitely want to get it done as soon as possible. As we don't know how long this will last. I wanted to do the same but unfortunately mine has shipped so there is no cancelling. I just got to wait it out. Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

Wow!! I didn't know they activated your line with a 2gb plan. Just go to the apple store and return it. People have stated they were able to return their phones even if ordered online. I believe if you do it within 3 days you won't be charged the activation fee. So I would try to get done today.

Yeah, I have another new line on order with UDP but won't be here for 7-10 days... :confused: Would be nice to get a hold of one with in store pickup.

Ok. I didn't realize you had already ordered another one. As far as the first line that they put on TDP, I would just return to store as I suggested above.

Or I have to wait for Apple's system to update before I can place order for instore pickup as Apple doesn't let you order more than 1 iphone if that one is in pending status. And if someone can verify that Iphone Unlimited is still selectable as of today? Anyone knows? Thanks

so i ordered the iphone 6 for ship to home option with UDP on my conformation page from apple and in the email it shows the phone number and the line info and it has shipped but still does not show up on my verizon account ....my question is when will it show up on verizon and can i activate it with the new sim or what is my best bet for success ?

It'll show up on your account when activated.

ok i understand that but at what point and what method does the phone get activated?? Like for instance the in store pick ups activate when they scan them at the store .....will this activate from Fedex scanning? I'm guessing not anyone have any idea on this?

when you turn on the phone with the new sim in it it should activate, unless theres an error and it says to call verizon

As soon as I left the store, I looked on MyVerizon on the app on my phone and it showed up there. The phone was still sealed and not touched at that point in time.
 
If I put my UDP SIM into my iPad, I can use Personal Hotspot. Do Verizon iPhone display the same behavior?

have any of you tried this in the Apple Store App (there's an iPhone version and an iPad version)?
I did on both iPad and iPhone. On both it only let me upgrade my phone. On Mobile Safari, I could select add a line, but when I hit continue, it wouldn't let me progress any further to type in my account info.

I have attached 3 screen shots. So, there's the ME plans, and the NW plans, along with the "widget" I alluded to. The widget showed up in Safari but not in Chrome or FF - again.
The widget is just the blue circle with the arrow head in it?

It's this navigational "arrow" - it, and the additional options showed up in Safari (I'm using a Mac), but not in IE, Chrome, Opera, or FF (Mac or Win).
My friend last night using Chrome was able to see the widget but when she clicked it, only ME data plans showed up, not the TDP for Nationwide plans. And when she got to the end of the ME data plans, the widget turned white and clicking on it any more did nothing.

Is it a hassle to install and uninstall safari on a PC?

So can someone please confirm if the "iPhone unlimited" is still showing up on apples site? I want to make sure it is before I cancel my order I already have. Thanks!
