Yes it is. Has it shown for you in the past? It doesn't show for everyone.

It's all smooshed together in one thread. More people now have done it merely by turning the phone on.

The SIM was technically activated because of Apple scanning the iPhone 6 in the store. I didn't power on the phone until I got home and basically transfered the two SIM cards and turned both on. Unlimited stayed intact on both lines.

What I did, I believe, is the iMyers configuration after adding a line. Am I wrong in saying that was the method? There are so many methods, but this is what I did at the recommendation of what I read, particularly from Jules.

For reasons none of us understand, some people can activate simply by turning on the phone and others can't. However, everyone who has reported to have used iMyers Method has been successful.

Yes, that is iMyers Method.
 
Added an unlimited line using iMyers method to be safe. I did the in store pickup and they did the activation part before they gave me the phone unopened. I left the store and activated the phone using iMyers trick. I just checked my Verizon account and that line shows its unlimited. Will be adding another line soon.

On the SD thread people are getting confused b/t add a new UDP line and using a UDP line's upgrade.

There have been at least 2 posters today who reported being able to simply turn on the new UDP line's phone and have it activate. Several others have done iMyers. Everyone who has reported back who did iMyers has been successful. Not everyone who has simply turned on the phone has been successful.

I am wondering if the problem some were having with just turning on the phone is that the Verizon servers were overloaded that day since you all were doing it on launch day or the next day.

Now things have calmed down so not as busy and we are seeing more and more people successfully just turning on the phones to activate them.

It's an unlimited data DREAM I'm going to have 5 new UDP lines by next week!
 
Hi, I have the option to add a unlimited line and have a few questions.

1) when I pick up at store can I activate it with the sim thats in there or do I need to switch with another one of my unlimited lines?

2) it apears it would come with a new number ' would I be able to switch the number another number that I have.

3) is it possible to trade a older iPhone in for the $200 credit that is going on doing this.

I don't really need another line but thought maybe somebody might want it and I get a new phone at the same time.

Another Successful Subsidized iPhone purchase with an added line & unlimited data.

Chose in store pick up, asked to set it up my self, she scanned it and I left. Checked my verizon online and there was a new unlimited data line. Opened phone, turned it on and was good to go.

Attached are photos of what my friend with an individual UDP line is seeing when she uses Chrome- all she is given the choice of are ME data plans. As you can see she went all the way to the 100GB plan without being given the option of iPhone unlimited and the blue circle with the arrow head in it turns white. Clicking it again does nothing.

When she tried to hit continue without selecting a plan, she gets and error asking her to select a plan.

Any thoughts?

Others have said you need to use safari.

Also what are you guys picking for text messages per month? Or can that be changed later.
 
Does this work on individual plan?

It doesnt give me an option to choose Unlimited plan for me.

Ive seen several posts talking about family shared plan with unlimited data..
Does this only work for family shared plan, not individual plan?
