I have 2 udp lines not iphones so no nano sim card to swap. If I add a new unlimited iphone line will it work if I activate the new iphone with the sim it comes with?
Cnotes thx thought I read some people saying it a must to swap sims for the new phone to work and since I dont have an iphone now thought I was out of luck. Dumb question, but is there a process to follow to get same sim it came with to work?
Sorry a little off topic, How did you merge the 2 individual plans to nationwide family plan?
Yea I didnt want to cut the sim. Thats why I ask if I pickup in store will the same sim work for unlimited. Cnotes said yes but is there any special I need to do. Sorry if im over thinking it.

Thanks OP for this post!
I have been able to do this twice now, each time with in-store pick up. I'll try to explain the steps below, hopefully it helps and clarifies things a bit for those who are trying store pickup.
1. Added an additional individual line with an iPhone 6 (line #2) to my individual line with iPhone 5s on UDP (line #1)
- went through the web portal, chose the 450 minute plan --> iPhone unlimited data --> 250 text messaging plan (also a grandfathered feature)
- at the store, the rep just scanned the device and activated the new UDP line, without opening up the new device
- after i left the store, line #2 is shown activated on my Verizon account, with the unlimited data and 250 text features on the line, but without a device attached to it
- went home and used line #1's SIM to turn on and activate the new iPhone 6
- used line #2's SIM in the 5s, waited a bit for it to activate and receive signal
- swapped the SIM cards back, and both lines still showing unlimited data
before going through the in-store pick up process again, I converted the 2 individual lines on the account into a 700-minute family plan.
2. Added an additional line to the family plan with a 6+ (line #3)
- web portal didn't ask me to choose minutes, only data + text features. chose iPhone unlimited & 250 text again
- went through the same steps as #1: picking up the phone in store with a line activated without a device attached to it, then activating the device at home
Curious, would anyone here be interested in taking over one of the unlimited lines (for free, contract end date 9/23/2016)?
that is awesome. Thank you for the advice. I have a question. I currently have a samsung galaxy phone and I am on unlimited data plan under a family plan. I'm out of contract. Going on a month to month basis with Verizon. Will the above plan work for the Samsung phone? I don't want to get a SIM card cutter etc.
With At&t currently, but tired of the throttling. Anyone interested in trade or discussing what it'd cost to get one of these transferred that'd be much appreciated! (be reasonable)
Thanks

Oh man. Don't see the unlimited iPhone plan offered on the Apple store site. Boo.
What does this mean? When my friend tried to not select a data option, she got an error. But she was only presented with the More Everything data options. It's still there don't select any data at option #1
I got that error and can't get past it. What plan do you have? When I select "add a new line" and enter in my verizon credentials, I'm getting an error that says "your request couldn't be processed." Has anyone else experienced this?

There are instructions on slick deals one poster did it and posted detailed instructions. Another poster lost UDP when he/she did it.Has anyone added a new UDP line and successfully swapped their numbers?

I have a UDP line that is month to month. I was able to add a new UDP line through Apple. I picked up the iP6 in the store but I haven't opened it for fear that I won't be able to swap my phone# from my old UDP to the new UDP. Any suggestions? (my old UDP has a iP 4s, so no 4G card to work with for swapping sims)

So I think I know the answer to this qusetion.
Nationwide 700 Minutes Unlimited Text
Line 1: unlimited data
Line 2: 2GB
Add a new line for unlimited. Is it possible to switch Line 2's number to Line 3?
And have the new number be on a 2GB data plan?
I'm pretty sure the answer is No, but let me know if that's incorrect.
-edit- looks like it literally was just answered above me. Use a forwarding service like Google Voice I guess
Don't use a forwarding service... You actually port the line to google voice, and then port it back on top of the number you want. There's a trick to the timing of it to make it work.
I will have one for sale in about a week but I am sure that Cnotes can hook you up now
