I will have one available next week.
You still have these UDP lines for sale?
I did an AOL about an hour after picking up my phone.
Do you have to pay the first month's bill or does even that has to be paid by the person receiving the AOL?
This isn't a sales thread, guys![]()
You scared that somebody might steal some of your and Cnotes customers![]()

The person receiving the AOL only pays from the date they take over the phone plan until the end of their billing cycle.
From the date that the line is activated until it was transferred you are responsible for.
There's an earlier reply - it's not necessarily true. Lines that are added via the AOL process need to be unencumbered - paid up, in other words. I've tried to AOL lines but the seller/provider "had a story" - their bills weren't paid or there was some kind of credit hold on the account/line.Do you have to pay the first month's bill or does even that has to be paid by the person receiving the AOL?
how long after you activate the additional UDP line can you sell it?

Just because a line is for sale doesn't mean that it's "free" - make sure that the line has no issues, but only VZW can tell you that. I've heard some real doozys - the other party is trying to sell the line because they couldn't pay the bill - the line can't be AOLed until the line's account is paid up. You've been warned...

That reply of mine wasn't elaborate, but IKWYM. What I tell my clients about "worth" - it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Several weeks ago, these lines were going for up to $800, then VZW made their network optimization changes and the going rate seems to be about $500 - all minus the 12.5% eBay/PayPal "taxes". After 10/1, they could be worth less - if VZW starts throttling, and VZW stops offering the 6GB legacy UL data deals to existing GFed data subs. Two years ago, I bought some for $200 a pop and still have them. Thanks for the elaborate reply, but I am on the other side. I am the one selling the UDP line. I want to figure out what's the right price, and whether I would be responsible for the first month's bill. From what you two have said, it seems I would be not.
And, then the question of who pays that balance remains. Some of my AOL attempts led to the owner of the line asking me to pay their bill - an expense I'm not willing to take on because IMO there's so many other lines in good standing available. This is true. There can be a balance, but the line has to be in good standing, IE not past due, etc.

Some bad news guys! After reading this thread, I followed all of the instructions and went to my local Apple store, etc. etc. (yes, I selected Unlimted iPhone when making the data selection). When I got home from the Apple store, I logged in to the VZW app on the iPhone and it shows the data is 2GB plan![]()
did you do the sim swap or nah?
anyone here with a single UDP line, that added a new UDP line at apple.com, had it shipped to home, have a success story?
yes

When I was at the Apple Store, the phone wouldn't activate and the Apple rep had to call into Verizon. I figured they would say something about the plan but they said it was because I was picking it up in a different state from my billing address and just verified my ID and then it activated. I am wondering if the Verizon rep changed the plan at that point without notification. I still have the original email where I placed the order and it shows Unlimited iPhone as the data plan.
