Correct. He did the steps I would of. It's clearly an activation issue with Verizon. They probably are aware its an unlimited data line. I wonder if they are catching on to the loopholes?

apple.com allowing me to add new iPhone to Verizon account with unlimited

I have too wonder with what we know from cnotes UNFORTUNATE trip to apple is that maybe this may not go thru..
Question for the rest of the group, once you received your tracking number did the line show up on your account at all?
Reasn I ask is bought a phone (add a line) thru verizon on launch.. The line never showed up until yesterday on my account, once I received a tracking number from Verizon..then the number was on mmy account aty my verizon..
So to clarify my questons/statment.. I guessiing the number never showed up on cnotes account prior to going to apple today..

I think this is about the new line that I added from apple.com with UDP. Apple.com order status is still in progress.

My phone just got delivered. Activated with no issues. New number not showing on vzw.com so I can't verify what data plan is assigned just yet. I'll follow up when I find out.

VERY intersecting... That number should have been n your account as son as the tracking said delivered OR a few hours before.
Spoke too soon. Phone said it was activated but won't let me make calls, just says I need to contact customer service. Not looking good. I'll follow up soon.
Yes... But that really accomplishes nothing Anybody can add a line and get a phone with it.

Hey guys just got the iPhone 6 in store. It is activated and its unlimited data. What I did was brand new out if the box I put the sim card from current line into new phone and new line sim card into old phone. Everything is activated and my Verizon shows unlimited data to all three lines
OH WOW! Great news!!! So you had 2 unlimited data lines and then you ordered your iphone 6 through apple and selected unlimited iphone and now all 3 lines with unlimited data show up on your account huh? I'm glad some one got it working in this forum.
So you had them open the box and then switch the sims ??? Just to be clear you ordered it for store pick up and went in and it went through fine on their handheld device?

Did you get this phone at an Apple Store? If you did, how did you get them to allow you to change sim cards before activation? I ask because I have heard they will not let you leave the store with a subsidized phone until they activate it.
