What do you mean you have it on your 5s? Did you select the unlimited through the add a line? If so, what plan does show up when you look at it?
Yes, I saw that too. I actually chose that option when I placed my order. In hindsight, I think I should have chose pay per use, as to not cause any additional complications with the order.
I actually have the old Nationwide Family SharePlan and a grandfathered unlimited iphone 5s and still don't see the option for an unlimited new line. Anyone have an idea as to why? I just simply try to add a new 5th line (other lines are iphone 4 (no contract), two dumb phones and grandfathered unlimited iphone 5s) and see no unlimited data option.

When I was able to order a new line on Monday night (9/15) with a new ULD (adding it to my Nationwide 1400 TLK/TXT Plan that has 3 ULD's and a 2GB line) the option was buried all the way on the right of the data options scrollbar at the end past 10GB+Hotspot. It's listed as "iPhone unlimited."

If the newly added line got true unlimited data plan without affecting UDP of the primary line or any hickups.

Here's my update. I got a free case. And that's it

after more than an hour on the phone with Apple and verizon, changing SIM cards, canceling web order and doing a fresh order at the store it's a big no go. It kept giving out errors messages.

So you didn't get to keep unlimited data on a new line?
I don't know how it will plan out if you order ship to home but it's a no go for store pick up. I'm assuming you won't be able to activate it if you ship to home.

Once my original funds gets refunded to my cc I'll buy full price. I have others coming in on normal upgrades but I thought I could get an extra line with UDP. Blah.

First part of the dilemma was it not evening showing up on Verizon's end. So after countless time and errors he got on with Apple tech they pushed it through to show on Verizon's end. Then got an error message from verizon 'halt activation'. Tried a new sim. Canceled web order and tried fresh order in store. No go. Error messages abound. Maybe it's an issue with in store pick up that can be rectified with ship to home. I don't know. I'll see how everyone who did ship to home makes out with it.
If I'm reading right, cnotes2019 is trying a different scenario than those that purchase on apple.com with the "Unlimited iPhone" data plan. I'm still waiting for delivery of my phone and will report back when I figure things out.
I just tried this now and am able to select "Unlimited iPhone" as a data choice for $29.99/mo.
I have an old FamilyShare Plan with 3 lines, one of which has Unlimited Data. If this works for others, I may purchase another phone (and surprise my girl w/it), and just pop the sim into a Hotspot (they can't limit your device - FCC 700 block rules).

I wouldn't keep my hopes up, he did everything we did except get the phone there. After paying and everything he had trouble activating the line....
