How does one go about selling a Verizon Unlimited Data line? Where do you sell it? Ebay looks flooded with them. I'm currently on a family share plan.

Also, does Google Voice work just as seamlessly on iPhone as it does on Android? Can I have it make/send all my calls with my GV number? Does it work with texting/mms from GV (or is it on Hangouts now?)?

Thanks!

are u trying to activate on vzw.com?

Yes I was using vzw.com. I figured it would be risky to do via vz store or customer service.
The reason I am trying is when I tried to AOL my line, the buyer's newly bought 5S (at full retail) wouldn't activate. So I am trying to activate his phone on my line and then transfer both at the same time.

Any ideas why his phone wouldn't activate? I had the same set up with a line I AOL-ed last week, and it worked without issues.

Google voice works fine on iPhone but it won't make VoIP calls. It will call you, and when you pick up, you get connected. But those are voice calls and use minutes.

There is a google voice app that allows you to place VoIP calls if I'm not mistaken but I can't be mistaken because I use the app.

I have a UDP that I would like to AOL to someone for free. It's currently part of a Nationwide talk and text share 700. I'm not sure if that matters but I only want to AOL a single line not the whole family line.

I'm interested in this. You can email me at gowings23 at gmail

WTF. I've had mine for 4 days and still won't activate. Called apple-they said call vzw. No thanks. I am now within the original shipping time frame listed in the order processing email from apple and still no luck activating and no new UDP showing on vzw.com yet.

AFAIK, the line won't show until you activate the phone. I'm not sure why they are referring you to VZW as your phone can't connect to Apple servers. Did you speak to a supervisor tech?

Someone a couple of pages back went to an Apple store and the techs put in activation request to Verizon. He/she explained to the tech that they received the phone earlier than Apple expected date. Said they were able to activate the phone the next day. Perhaps you can give it a try before taking back the phone. btw.. I don't think you'll be responsible for an activation fee as your line hasn't been activated yet.

How weird - i'm trying to activate a new UDP line from Apple. But I don't want to use the phone I bought with it... instead I went to Verizon to switch that line to a phone that was previously on the account (a 3G phone, if that matters).

I select the device
I click next
"We'll need to send you a text message" -- I pick my main line on the account

And then I get this:
"We're sorry! Unfortunately, none of the lines on your account are eligible to receive the Online Authorization Code. You will not be able to add the new device to your account. Please call (800) 922-0204 or dial *611 from your mobile phone for further assistance."

Anyone seen that before?

May I ask why you want to use a 3G phone?

Maybe it's because you are going from a lte phone (the one you purchased via new udp line to a 3G phone. Not sure.

Let me make this easier for you... Just call *228 from your 3G phone, put in the number you want that phone to be on, and then enter your account passcode, or if you don't have one, the last 4 digits of the primary account holder's SSN. It will activate the phone on that line for you. Make sure it's a smartphone, and not just a 3G dumb phone though, or you will lose your unlimited data!

Just picked up my 3rd plus time to sell sell sell.

They didn't make me pay a deposit this time SMDFH

I am not using it right :p

Btw, after the buyer completes the AOL process on the phone, how long before he gets the email from Verizon (the one where he has to accept the agreement which is the last step)?

They get that email immediately

He hasn't received it yet (1 hour+ already). making me nervous :(.

The vz rep said anywhere between 2 minutes and 48 hours, but I don't think she was a very knowledgable rep.

I would call back- they can re send that email

I had a similar incident with my first AOL. Verizon mispelled the recipients email address.

I wanted to transfer the new line OFF of the new phone, so that I can sell the phone independently.

Oh, well that is in fact easier. That won't prevent the new user from switching it back to a 4G device later, right?

I never received any email from V they said it was all done on the phone and it's all showing on my account

I am guessing the buyer didn't want to "accept" the agreement without making sure unlimited was still there. Funny thing is that the email doesn't show the details of the plan either. As long as it's done successfully, that's what I care about.

Can anyone help?

I have a family share plan with 4 lines on Verizon. 2 have UDP.

Every time I try to "add a line" on Apple's website, I get the above message after entering my credentials. My friend gets through just fine.

I've done it when stock was readily available in my local store, and my bill is fully paid off.
There is no cure for this error. Whatever promo is on your account, you cannot add a line through apple.

I've tried both safari and chrome. Same result.
Do you have free mobile to any mobile minutes? If so, it won't work. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ADD A LINE THROUGH APPLE OR ANYWHERE ELSE EXCEPT VERIZON.

I was actually on the receiving end of the AOL and it was on a biz account handled by V's biz division so maybe that makes a difference
